30, 1933, in Cicero, the son of James and Regina Wawrzyniak Krupinski. He was a 1952 graduate of Holy Trinity High School in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a radio operator in the Mediterranean from June 1952 to June 1955, achieving the rank of corporal in 1954. He attended St.

O'TRIMBLE FUNERAL HOME NORTONVILLE, KANSAS EFFINGHAM, KANSAS 2 Atchison Globe Sunday, November 29, 1992 Briefly speaking In March 1958, he purchased and developed the land which became Pineview Country Club. He and his sister, and the nephew who he raised as his son, Mike Purslow, operated the restaurant at Pineview Country Club until July 1989, when he retired and the membership purchased the golf course. Mr. Alberts was a member of the first graduating class of Maur Hill in 1935.

He remained a fan of Maur Hill, St. Benedict's and Benedic- lege on a football scholarship, graduating in 1960. He attended graduate school at Texas University where he received his master's degree in business and economics. Following graduation, he taught at Texas for one year. He also attended the University of Wisconsin School of Banking and did graduate study at Kansas State University.

Mr. Krupinski returned to Atchison in 1962 and had been with St. Benedict's College, now Benedictine College, until his death. He was instrumental in coordinating the return of a football team to Benedictine College in 1970. He served on the board of directors of NEK-CAP and Housing Authority was past president ofthe board of the Red Cross and vice chairman of Northeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging.

He also served on the Industrial Development Board, now the Economic Development Board. He was a member of the VFW, Fleming Fleming-Jackson-Seever Post No. 6 of the American Legion, Atchison Elks Club, Bellevue Country Club, Atchison Chamber of Commerce, St. Benedict's Church and Knights of Columbus Council No. 723, all of Atchison.

Mr. Krupinski was elected to the Atchison City Commission for a two-year term in 1983 and reelected for a four-year term in 1985. he served as mayor of the city of Atchison in 1985 and 1986. He completed his tenure with the commission in 1989. He also served as interim city manager in the fall of 1981.

He married Joanne Easly on Feb. 16, 1957, in River Forest, M. She survives at the home. Additional survivors include a daughter, Robin Hennigh, Atchison; a son, Tom Krupinski, Erie, a sister, Rosemary Adomaitis, Lisle, and a grandchild. Alfred W.

He was also the 1976 Alumnus of the Year at Maur Hill and received the Knight of St. Maur Award from Maur Hill in 1986. Mr. Alberts was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church and a Third Degree Knight of Columbus.

He was also a member of the Atchison Chamber of Commerce, Atchison County Historical Society, VFW, American Legion, Elks, League of St. Maur, and on the Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Ziegler, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran School Endowment fund. Mr. Pennington was born Oct.

26, 1960, in Atchison, the son of Howard G. and Ruth VanHorn Pennington. He attended Potter Grade School and was a 1979 graduate of Atchison County Community High School, Effingham. He was employed as a general sales manager with the Coors Company in Leavenworth for eight years. He was also a part owner of the Country Club night club in Atchison and owned Pennington Deer Processing Plant.

Mr. Pennington was a lifelong Atchison area resident and former member of St. Patrick's Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He married Julie Williams on Dec.

8, 1984. She survives. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard G. Pennington, on Dec. 30, 1989.

Additional survivors include two sons, Anthony Pennington and Eric Pennington, Atchison; two brothers, Howard D. Pennington, Tonganoxie, and Robert Pennington, Leavenworth; a sister, Debbie Drimmel, Atchison; his mother and stepfather, Ruth and Don Burge, Easton; his stepmother, June Pennington, Atchison; a number of nieces and nephews and a greatniece. Ralph D. Fraizer Ralph D. Fraizer, 78, DeKalb, died Thursday, Nov.

26, 1992, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Sugar Creek Christian Church near Rushville with the Rev. Dan Muter, pastor of the DeKalb Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery.

2, 1914, in the Sugar Creek community near Rushville, the son of Thomas Oscar and Dona Pitts Fraizer. He attended rural Rushville schools. He was a longtime farmer and also was employed by Rockwell International for 20 years, retiring in the mid-19703. He had lived in the DeKalb area since the early 1940s. Mr.

Fraizer was a member of the Salem Christian Church. He married Mary Alice Bigham on Dec. 4, 1937, in St. Joseph. She preceded him in death on April 8, Services WILLIAM D.

"BILL" TALIAFERRO Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Effingham Union Church with the Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Effingham. The body is available for viewing for one hour preceding services at the church.

Purslow, Atchison; and a niece who he raised as his daughter, Patty L. Flynn, Atchison; and a number of other nieces and nephews, 1986. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Fraizer, of the home; a brother, Walter Fraizer, Salina, and a number of nieces and nephews. Harold R.

Doty Harold Richard Doty, 68, Topeka, a graduate of Easton High School, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1992, at his home. Services will be private. The body will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Monday at Penwell-Gabel funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care 1272 S.W. Fillmore, Topeka, 66604. Mr. Doty was born April 3, 1924, in Belvedere, the son of Earl L.

and Edna A. Shawen Doty. He School in 1942 and later attended Stricklers Business College. graduated from a Easton High He owned the Kansas Sewing Machine in Topeka since 1951. Mr.

Doty was a member of Topeka North Post No. 400 of the American Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 55. He married Rheinetta M. Tab.

"Gary" Lamme, 55, Topeka, formerly of Horton, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1992, at Cannon Beach, Ore. The cause of death was unavailable at press time. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Chapel, Topeka.

Graveside services will be at 2. p.m. Monday at Spring Hill Cemetery in Whiting. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorjals are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled children, Arab Shrine, 1305 S. Kansas Topeka, 66612. Mr. Lamme was born April 19, 1937, in Horton, the son of Donald and Veneita Lawrence Lamme. He was reared by his mother and stepfather, George Newton.

He taught school at Circleville, Silver Lake and Carbondale. He later became an insurance adjuster and worked for MFA, Allied and then Farmers Alliance Insurance Co. He had served as past president of The Topeka and Kansas Claims Associations. Mr. Lamme was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, Muscotah Chapter No.

257 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Muscotah Lodge No. 116, and Scottish Rite Bodies and Arab Shrine, where he was past president of the director's staff. He also was a charter member of the Great Plains Balloon Club. He married Glenda Blankenship on Nov. 29, 1959, in Joplin, Mo.

She survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Gordon L. Lamme and Garin H. Lamme, Topeka; his mother, Veneita Newton, Whiting; and a sister, Donneta P. Brown, Whiting.
