Mary Reding was chosen to be our queen candidate for fun night which is to be held at the Bancroft Public school on Feb. 27. It was announced that all girls, their parents and friends, are invited to a farewell partv for Norma Morgan, Kossuth County Home Economist. The girls who have enrolled in the clothing project also had a soe- cial meeting, as did the girls who are taking Foods and Nutrition. Recreation was also held. Our leaders are: Organizational, Mrs. Hubert O'Brien: Home Furnishings, Mrs. Ted Hilbert; Food and Nutrition, Mrs. Albert Thilges; Clothing, Mrs. Hubert O'Brien; Gardening, Mrs. Bill McGuire. Junior Leaders are Rosa Lee Illg in Arts and Crafts, and Sandy O'Brien, Clothing. Guests included Mrs. Eugene Kollasch, Mrs. Eugene Zeimet. Mrs. Edwin Thilges, Mrs. Albert Thilges, Mrs. Joe Loebach, Mrs. Maurice Reding, Mrs. Hubert O'Brien, and Mrs. Art .Illg. Rosa banning to attend. It is held in Madrid on Feb. 13. This will be two or three day trip. Discussion was also made on the 4-H basketball teams. Arrangements are to be made to rent a gym for practice. 4-H programs were passed out along with physical fitness sheets . These are to be filled out and put in their record book. An explanation was given on the physical fitness sheets. February 27 Fun Night will be held starting at 7:30 p.m. Norn inations were open for King candidates, they were: Bill Carlson, Don Canaday and Wayne Patterson. After a secret ballot vote Wayne Patterson was elected. Meeting adjourned. Don Pat .erson lead the 4-H pledge. Tom Black served lunch. WINNER — Outstanding!
