I BULLETIN, Thursday, October 8, 19681 DEATHS- Mrs. O. T. Baird, 100 BRADY Services for Mrs. O.

T. (Sallie) Baird. 100, Brady's oldest citizen and mother of Mrs. T. W.

Blackburn of Brownwood, were to be today at 2 p.m. in Wilkerson Funeral Home with burial in Live Oak Cemetery. Mrs. Baird died Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in a Brady hospital after a brief illness.

She was born Aug. 7, 1866 in San Gabriel and married Oliver Terrell Baird Nov. 19, 1886 there. The couple moved to Brady in 1939 after farming for 50 years in the Fairview community. Mr.

Baird died in 1939. Mrs. Baird's twin sister. Mrs. Henry Moore of Taylor died May 29.

1963. Had Mrs. Moore lived 15 more months. the sisters would have been one of the very few 100-year-old twins in history. She was a long-time member of the Christian Church.

Other survivors include four other daughters: three sons: and numerous grandchildren. Mrs. Edward Browning SAN SABA (BBC)-Services for Mrs. Edward Brown. 78.

of San Saba will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Howell-Doran Funeral Home with burial in City Cemetery, Mrs. Brown died Wednesday at 3:45 a.m. in a San Saba nursing home where she had been 21 months. She was born Lyda Schlaudt March 7.

1888. in Fredericksburg and was married to Edward Brown there Dec. 30, 1908. Her husband died Feb. 7, 1965.

She was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include seven sons, Edward G. of Crosby, Clayton of Dripping Springs, Bascom Lee Harmon and James all: of Houston, Larry of Fort Worth and Douglas of Aransas Pass: six daughters, Mrs. A. E.

Churchwell and Mrs. A. J. Whitley, both of San Saba, Mrs. W.

W. McConnell of Austin, Mrs. Bill Thomson of Granada Hills. Mrs. G.

W. Moore of Houston and Mrs. Charles Koenig of Hamilton, three ters, Mrs. August Jost, Mrs. Ella Aherns and Mrs.

Frank Basse, all of Fredericksburg: one brother, August Schlaudt of Arizona; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. O. V. Rutherford, 71 COLEMAN (BBC)- Services for Oscar V. Rutherford, 71, of Santa Anna were to be today at 2 p.m.

in Stevens Funeral Home with burial in Coleman City Cemetery. Mr. Rutherford died Wednesday at 8:40 a.m. in a Santa Anna hospital after a short illness. He was born Nov.

20, 1894, in Hunt County and had. lived in Coleman County since 1919. A retired carpenter and farmer, he was a Baptist and vet-: eran of World War I. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leon Phillips of San Angelo; two sons, R.

MARKETS Brownwood Cattle Auction had a slow market Wednesday with few choice calves selling on a steady market. Butcher cattle were 50 to 75 cents lower with pairs barely steady.
