your protons to tittS Ittfft niim fan Ma H ii / News of services and meetings in Kossuth County churches this week First Presbyterion Rev. Wallet F.' MOM Irvlngton Thursday, Feb. 18 2 p.m. — Missionary Study. 7:30 p.m. — Choir practice, 8 p.m. — Youth Fellowship. Sunday, Feb. 21 9 a.m. — Worship Service. 10:15 a.m. — Church School. Evangelical Fret St. John's Lutheran No Report Cards Needed For Church Report cards arc a serious part of the lives of all school folk. If the card shows good marks it may be passed over without too much attention, outside of pride on the part of the parents. On the other hand, low marks indicate something is wrong. The cause may lie in faulty vision, hearing or some unsuspected ailment. Wise is the parent who finds out why. He should neither jump at conclusions and scold the student nor be hasty in blaming the teacher. He should investigate slowly and thoroughly and tempers should be normal when any action is taken. Wise, also, are the parents who watch and nurture the spiritual life of their children. Here healthy minds are less likely to be moody minds. The Church is one great school in this development. Parents need not be concerned about a report card for this schooling if they will choose, and all go to the Church from which the entire family will derive the most benefit. Advonce Publishing Co.
