The concert is open to the public.

Directed by Albert van Ackere, the new choir director and assist ant professor of music at Wilson, the Choral club will present a program ranging from sixteenth century madrigals to modern settings of folk poems. In the first group on the program will be Festa's "Down in a flow'ry ale," Dowland's "Come Again, Sweet love," Kale's "How Merrily We Live" and de Lassus' "Echo Song." The Czechoslovakian folksong, Dobru Noc, will open the second group of songs which will also include Mendelssohn's "On Wing3 of Song," and compositions by Franz and Rachmaninoff. Ptyn toiului-', BIGSPRING Shippensburg STC Graduate Named Elementary Instructor Monday Seek Coach The Big Spring joint committee elected three new teachers at its monthly meeting on Monday evening and screened three applicants for the job of business manager, although no final decision is expected to be made until next week.

The new teachers are Miss Gloria Ann Bricker of Harrisburg; Robert G. Boyles of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Geraldine Lesher of Seven yalleys, Miss Bricker will be an elementary teacher, Mr. Boyles will teach English and Spanish. This will the first time that Spanish is to be taught in the Newville area.

Mrs. Lesher will teach music, replacing Miss Joanne Ricedorf, who resigned recently in order to accept a position teaching kindergarten at Lewistown. Graduates From SSTC Miss Bricker is a graduate of Lower Paxton township high school in 1951 and will graduate from Shippensburg State Teachers college this month with a B.S. degree. Mr.

Boyles is a graduate of Pea-body high school in 1948 and of the University of Pittsburgh in 1952. He is certified in English, Spanish and history. Mrs. Lesher graduated in 1950 from Lebanon Valley college, where she received a B.S. degree in music and in 1954 from Pennsylvania State university, where she received a master of education degree in music education.

She has taught for five years in Spring Grove joint high school. Meet Again Monday The joint committee is expected lo make its final selection as to business manager at a meeting on Monday evening, following a joint board meeting, at which time a treasurer and solicitor wiN be selected for the year.
