Wesley E. Brinkman, 62, of rural Coon Valley, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, in a Rochester, hospital following heart surgery. He was bom May 3, 1915, in the Town of Hamburg, Vernon County, to Mr. and Mrs.

Carl F. Brinkman. He married Beulah Hass on June 24, 1944, in St. Lutheran Church, Town of Genoa, and they farmed in the Town of Hamburg He was a member of the Hamburg-St. Lutheran Church Council.

Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs Wallace (Joann) Gaulke of De Pere and Mary, at home; three grandchildren; two brothers, Carl of Chaseburg and Leonard of La Crosse; and two sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Esther) Hohmann of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Leonard (Gertrude) Rick of La Crosse. His parents and a sister preceded him in death Services are pending at Seland Funeral Home, Coon Valley. MRS.

August Kuhnert She married Harold May in 1933 in Eau Claire and they owned and operated Greenhouse in Mondovi and Eau Claire before their retirement. Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs Milford Parkhurst of Galesville; four grandchildren; and a brother. Victor Kuhnert of Eau Claire Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St Lutheran Church, Eau Claire Rev Alfred Langhough will officiate and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery Friends may call at Smith Funeral Chapel, Eau Claire, Friday after 3 p.m., and at the church Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the services.

LEONARD RAYMOND READSTOWN, Wis Leonard Raymond, 77, Readstown, died Wednesday, Aug 10, in a Viroqua hospital He was born Aug 18, 1899, in Purdy, Vemon County, to Mr. and Mrs. Claude Raymond. He married Frieda Mueller on March 20, 1924 He farmed for several years and owned and operated the Folsom General Store near Readstown for 23 years. He was employed by the Beloit Corp.

from 1960 until 1970 when he retired. Survivors are his widow; a son, Wayne of Fennimore, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Guscetti of Onalaska and Mrs. Bill (Lyndal) Glass of Readstown; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Bernard of La Crosse. Friends also may call at the church Saturday from noon until the services EDWARD BREDAHL BLAIR, Wis. Edward Bredahl, 89. a resident of Grand View Nursing Home. Blair, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, in a Whitehall hospital.

He was born March 21. 1888, in River Falls to Hans and Elise (Borgan) Bredahl He had formerly lived in Superior. Survivors are a brother. Hans of Superior; and a sister, Mrs. Verne (Josie) Gish of Little Falls, Minn.

Services will be at 11 a m. Friday in the Jack Funeral Home. Blair Rev M.J. Larson will officiate and burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Blair.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 9 a.m. until the services. HERBERT PATTEN HOLMEN, Wis. Services for Herbert Patten, 60, of 1709 Viking will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Woodruff Funeral Home, La Crosse.

Rev. M. Vanderbeck will officiate and burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse Military services at the graveside will be by American Legion Post 366 Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from noon until the services. Patten died Wednesday, Aug. 10, in a La Crosse hospital.

He was born Oct. 31, 1916, in Middleton, Mo. He was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Post 366 Survivors are his widow, Nina; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Shirley Joann) Wendtland of Beloit and Betty Gail Patten of Davis Junction, a son, Jakie of Rockford; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Paul (Sandra) Skalet of Lanesboro, and Mrs.

Jimmie (Sonj) Teitloff of Nashville, Tenn a stepson, Roger Johnson of La Crosse; eight grandchildren; and two sisters. Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) Davidson of Kansas City. and Mrs. Harold (Zelma) Irvin of Burbank.

Maynard Olson, 78, Galesville, died Wednesday, Aug 10, in Jackson, while vacationing Arrangements are pending at Smith Mortuary, Galesville Rites held for paper executive GREEN BAY. Wis (AP) Services were held Tuesday in De Pere for Charles N. Egan, a paper industry executive who died Sunday at the age of 67.

Egan was president and board chairman of Little Rapids Pulp Co. and chairman of Shawano Paper Mills and Green Bay Tissue Mills, Inc. Egan helped found the Wisconsin Paper Group, and serviced as its president. MRS. INEZ L.

POIRIER ONALASKA, Wis. Mrs. Inez L. Poirier, 65, Onalaska. died Tuesday, Aug.

9, in a La Crosse hospital She was born June 1, 1912, in North Bend to Mr. and Mrs Thomas Langston She married George Poirier in 1946 and he died in 1970. Survivors are two sons, Gordon Amidon of Barrington, 111 and Claire Amidon of Bartlett, III five grandchildren; a grandchild; and two brothers, Earl Langston of Onalaska and Gale of Milwaukee Graveside services were to be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery, North Bend, with Rev Allen Birchler officiating. Smith Mortuary, Galesville, was in charge of arrangements.
