1 fft lN2 LOWRY, Paul Michael "Mike," age 67, of Mechanicsville, was suddenly called home to Heaven on November 17, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie; his daughter, Nikki Lowry; son, Josh Lowry and wife, Laura; his treasured granddaughters, Coraline and Emilia; brother, Tommy Lowry (Louise); sisters, Margaret Lowry, Mary Ann Bookheimer (Bob), Trish VanFossen (Ray); a large family of relatives and many treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosemary and Tom Lowry Sr. He was a member of Church of the Redeemer, Knights of Columbus and the Mechanicsville Businessmen's Association. Mike graduated from Hermitage High School in 1971 and pursued a career in professional printing and flexographics, which led the way to his current position as president of Neagle's Flexo IncVisions Sign and Display.

He always worked hard to get the job done right and was proud of his Southern heritage. Mike was a humble man who loved his family and his dog. He enjoyed activities with his granddaughters, vacations at the beach, bowling, fishing and time spent relaxing with friends at the lake. He was a fan of UVA athletics, collected MLB and NASCAR memorabilia and supported the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed making people laugh and was respected by everyone he met because of his positive, Christian character.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 22, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Bliley's Funeral Home on Staples Mill Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eastern Hanover Volunteer Fire Department Station 3 or the Knights of Columbus. BOYD, Rose, of Stuarts Draft, died Monday, November 16, 2020, at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab in Fishersville, at the age of 94. She was born on October 15, 1926, in Richmond, to the late George Stein Jr. and Opelia Talbot Stein; and had one brother, George Stein III (deceased). She was an alumna of St. Gertrude's School in Richmond.

She married Wheeler Virgil Boyd on Groundhog Day, 1951 and had three children. She worked as a hairdresser and had played saxophone in the family band, the Stein Family Orchestra, in and around Richmond in the 1940s. Playing music was always a major part of her life and she continued playing the saxophone to the age of 93 in the "Rose Marie Quintet." Rose is survived in life by her son, Paul Boyd and his wife, Roben; her daughter, Suzanne Stinson; grandchildren, Derek Boyd, Lauren Boyd, Doug Stinson, Scott Boyd, Stuart Taylor and Barbara Harris; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Stein and her children, Terri Stark and George Stein IV. A service will be held at St.

John's Episcopal Church in Waynesboro, for family only. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. DeSHAZO, Jackie departed this earth at his mother's home in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, November 12, 2020, after a brief battle with cancer. Jackie was born in Richmond, Va.

on August 13, 1985. He grew up in Richmond, Va. and Savannah and Atlanta, Ga. He graduated from Atlee High School and Virginia Commonwealth University. Jackie is survived by his parents, Wilhemina Cook DeShazo (AKA-Mina) and Jackie Lyron DeShazo daughter, Stella Marie DeShazo; sister, Nicole Parker (Timothy Emanuel); brother, Jason DeShazo (Amanda); and a host of relatives and friends.

A 7 NMkflBIW FORD, Priscilla. On Friday, November 13, 2020, Priscilla Ford passed into the presence of her beloved Lord and Savior at age 90 at her home in Midlothian, surrounded by loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; and is survived by her five children and their spouses, the Rev.

Dr. F. Peter Ford Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Beirut, Lebanon, Marybeth Ford Falat and her husband, Jerry, of Stockton, Debbi Ford Hetrick and her husband, Rob, of Midlothian, Jonathan Ford and his wife, Reyna, of Richmond, Va. and Timothy Ford and his wife, Pamela, of Calcutta, Ohio.

Her family also includes 16 grandchildren and 10 great-granchildren. Born Priscilla Ann Stultz in Westbrook, Maine, in 1930, she was Salutatorian at Westbrook High School and attended Westbrook Teacher's College. She married Peter Ford of Leonia, in 195L After raising a family, Priscilla and Peter followed God's call to missions work in the Philippines, where they served at Faith Academy, a school for children of missionaries, for 18 years. Following Peter's death in 1995, she settled in Richmond. Priscilla had great zeal for her faith and was a strong prayer warrior.

A gifted musician, she will be missed by those who worshipped with her at Grace Gospel Chapel, Midlothian, where she played piano. She will be remembered for her strong faith, her bright smile, her easy laugh and her delightful Maine accent. Her life's verse was Nahum 1:7, The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him." A memorial service will be held at Richmond Christian Fellowship, 4424 Huguenot Richmond, Va. 23235 on Friday, November 20.

Born March 8, 1933, he was the son of the late Jennie Lorrette Friedline; and was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jarriod Paul Friedline, Blaine Eugene Friedline; and many siblings.

A retired Captain in the United States Army, Eugene dedicated 20 years of service to his beloved country, having served during the Korean War. A founding member, he was very involved in the Presbyterian Church of America and was on the Board of Directors for Ridge Haven Retreat, which is the PCA conference center. He retired from Reynolds Metals as a Departmental Superintendent after 33 years of dedicated service. A master craftsman, Eugene cherished woodworking, crafting many amazing pieces all by hand. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Gene Stewart Friedline; children, Dwaine K.

Friedline and wife, Linda, Darrell E. Friedline, Damon L. Friedline, Danielle F. Curtis and husband, Lee, Derrick W. Friedline; nine cherished grandchildren, nine precious greatgrandchildren; sister, Lenetta Yeagy; brother, Charles Yeagy; and numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020, at West End Presbyterian Church, 1600 Atlantic Street, Hopewell, Va. 23860. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m.

Mr. Green was a World War II veteran assigned to the Motor Division of the United States Army and served in the countries of Italy and Germany. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 9501 in King William County, Virginia. Mr. Green was a founding member of the Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department, and he donated their first fire engine.

He was a great supporter of churches in his community and surrounding counties as well as anyone else in need. He can best be described as strong, honest and hardworking. His word was his bond. Richard loved to joke and tell stories. His trademarks were his El Productor cigars and a new Lincoln Continental every year.

He broke barriers in the tree harvesting industry and started his own business, R. L. Green Logging, Inc. Along with his three sons, he ran this successful business for over 50 years. He was a member of Mangohick Baptist Church, and he loved his church and his pastor.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Audrey A. Green; daughter, Janice Fells; son, Wendell Green; and siblings, Robert Green, Harry Green, James Green, Mary Hubbard and Nanny Green. He leaves to cherish his memory five children, Regena Harris (Sherwood), Darlene Corbin, Richard Larry Green, Ronald E. Green (Cynthia) and Debra Ferguson (Robert); 18 grandchildren, 43 greatgrandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren; devoted sister, Louise Saunders (Aaron); devoted sister-in-law, Marian Williams (Lewis); daughter-in-law, Carolyn Green; and other relatives and friends.
