The awards will be presented Feb. 22. 'Station' grab 3 SAG nominations each Mark your calendars: Two popular (if over-the-hiH) NBC series have scheduled their finales. "Friends" will end its 10-year run with two hours on May 6: a one-hour retrospective at 9 p.m., followed by a one-hour series finale.

The same night, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" will broadcast from the Central Perk set of Warner Bros. Studios with cast members. Also getting a two-hour finale (but no Leno send-off) is "Frasier," ending its 11 seasons on May 13 with a retrospective at 9 p.m., followed by the finale at 10 p.m. There arc no losers in reality shows, only future stars of their own shows. Adam Mesh, runner-up in the original "Average Joe" series (he lost out to the not-so-average Jason Peoples), will star in "Average Joe: Adam Returns," a four-part series premiering at 10 p.m.

March 15. Also on NBC's March schedule: the return of "Crossing Jordan," starring Jill Hennessy. It will air at 10 p.m. Sundays. Look for Jennifer Finnigan (The Bold and the to join the cast as a medical student beginning her pathology residency, phis new emphasis on the procedural aspects of the world of coroners.

Congratulations to Anne Palmer of Richmond, who won yesterday's trivia contest on "Live With Regis and Kelly," which airs on WWBT-Channel 12. Almost a year ago, WCVE's sister station went off the air because the Klystron tubes in the transmitter failed. After repeated attempts to repair or replace the tubes also failed, the station opted to buy a new, smaller transmitter that can provide an analog signal at present but can also make the transition to digitaL Meanwhile, cable customers in Richmond and in Henrico and Chesterfield counties could still receive WCVW because of a fiber link between WCVW and Comcast Over-the-air viewers should be receiving the public TV signal by now, according to Sarah Barten-stein, director of communications for the Community Idea Stations, although they may experience a brief loss of service while engineers complete the installation and testing process.

If they're not receiving it, this means the new transmitter's signal is not going to reach them. Cable services other than Comcast and satellite services might restore the station at different times. Jackson tickets on sale tomorrow Country megastar Alan Jackson is heading to the Richmond Coliseum on April 15, and he's bringing Martina McBride. Seacrest even interacts with fans outside the studio the way TRL" focuses its camera on teenagers in Times Square. "On-Air" describes itself as a one-hour newsmagazine variety show with entertainment news as well as celebrity guests and live musical performances.

The entertainment news comes from former "Popstar" contestant Rosanna Tavarez, obviously chosen to match Seacrest in overactive enthusiasm. Her recent behind-the-scenes visit to the set of Fox's "O.C" was definitely more "puff" than news, however. Better are the musical segments, like Wednesday's visit from John Mayer, which proved a talk show is only as good as its guests. Mayer performed several songs, charmed fans and provided amusing stories and one-liners. "What's the first thing you do in the morning?" asked a fan.

"I ask myself: Where the hell am answered the always-on-tour Mayer. Billionaire Donald Trump and TV producer Mark Burnett, perhaps because they're 31 and 17 years older than Mayer, respectively, were less interesting as they promoted their new reality show, The Apprentice." Viewers did learn that Trump doesn't carry any cash, after audience members were invited to guess how much he had in his wallet Closest guess would win the contents. Burnett had to cough up $437 instead. Seeking to be teen-friendly, "On-Air" is doing everything possible to be interactive. You can e-mail the show.

You can call the show. You can send text messages to the show. This might work better if the show was actually live, as it promotes itself. We don't how this is possible since it airs at various times within the same time zones. "On-Air," a production of Twentieth Century Fox airing here on a Fox affiliate, also appears to be doing all it can to promote Fox shows.

For instance, next Monday, "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul is scheduled to appear We might think this was a coincidence except that yesterday Clay Aiken, of "American Idol" fame, was a guest and today Kiefer Sutherland, of Fox's "24," is scheduled to appear Coming tomorrow On Entertainment Page: Reviews of "Along Came Polly, "Torque and Richmond Symphony. I learned things I never knew about marriage from that play." Ms. Hagen made few movies, the best known being The Other" (1972), The Boys From Brazil" (1978) and "Reversal of Fortune" (1990). Her real passion was the stage.

"I could play 10 performances a week forever and thrive on it," Ms. Hagen told The Orange County (Calif.) Register in 2001. Tm never bored. People who get bored don't know their craft There's always something new to be gleaned from every performance. After two years of playing The Cherry you know what I did on closing night? I cried." Ms.

Hagen also took on such roles as Georgie in Odets' The Country Girl," winning her first best-actress Tony in 1951. She appeared as Blanche DuBois in the national tour of Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire" and when Jessica Tandy left the role on Broadway, Ms. Hagen joined the New York cast opposite Marlon Brando. Ms. Hagen received a third Tony Award, one for lifetime achievement, in 1999 and was awarded the National Medal of the Arts in 2002.

She was 84. Ms, Hagen died Wednesday at her Manhattan home, said Barn-etta Carter, managing director of the HB Studio, an acting school the actress helped found. She had been in poor health since suffering a stroke in 2001. Ms. Hagen was a versatile performer, at home not only in Shakespeare, Chekhov and Shaw, but in plays by Albee, Clifford Odets and Tennessee Williams.

She also was a dedicated acting teacher, writing a well-regarded acting textbook and operating the HB Studio for decades with her husband, Herbert Berghof. But it was as Martha in Albee's corrosive 1962 tale of a combative marriage that she gained her biggest Broadway success. Her portrayal, opposite Arthur Hill as George, was fierce and uncompromising. The play won five Tony Awards, including acting prizes for both Ms. Hagen andHilL "She was just that woman, all of her, (capturing) the pathos, the beauty and vulgarity in her performance," said actress Marian Seldes, recalling the original "Virginia Woolf."
