Mc Crne ordered a fine wagon to go with the horse. It arrived this week and now he hn one of the finest rigs in the country. It attracts more attention than a new 12-cylinder automobile and only goes to prove that Mr. Me-' Clrne will keep abreast with the times and Tucumcari should be proud of his way of doing business. S. ENTERTAINMENT A variety program will be given at the High School auditorium Friday evening, April 21, by the boys and girls of the Athletic Association. Demonstrating thnt they can act as well as play basket-ball the girls will present two one-act plays. The first, "A Little Gnme With Fate is dramatic as well as humorous and possesses real plot. The second, entitled "Where Are Those Men?" is as farcical as its title, and shows how-girls can amuse themselves when six men tail to come to their house party.

The boys will present several musical nnd humorous numbers, so that the whole program will resemble a high-class vaudeille entertainment, worth more than the price of admission. held last Monday afternoon the applications of the teachers now employed, were favorably acted upon, and one new teach Miss Aurora Lucero, daughter of the Secretary of State, was elected as head of the Spanish department for the ensuing year.
