An Enthusiastic Mooting-A Number of Resolutions Adopted--The Delegates to the County Convention, At a meeting of the Rlidgeway Democratic Club hold( on Saturday, June 8, 1878, the following preamble andl resolutions, introduced by Col. H. C. Davis, were unanimously adopted: Whereas, the Ridgeway Democratic Club haa, at two several egular meetings, endlorsedi the gnbernatorial policy of Givernor Hampton and wvhcreas, we now Ssee no reason why we should revoke our former delarations as to thne course hme hasu pursued ill thme administration of affairs both as to State anid be it, therefore, Jllesolved, That we do hereby instruct the delegates we elect to day to attend the County Convention to vote for no one in such 4' convention as delegate to the State Demiocratic Convention, to be hiolden in Columbia on the 1st day of August next. who is not pledged to use every off to secure tihe nominaitioni of Wade Hampton as the nominee of the Democratic party of South Carolina for gov ernor, at the approaching election in November.

Colonel Davis also introduced the following preamble and resolutions, whiTh were likewise unanimously adopted: Whereas, we heartily endorse the wise, prudent and firm manner in wyhich Gen. Jno.
