nurse levels and using signing bonuses to attract workers for difficultrto-fill shifts The move to solidify nursing ranks at the 113-year-old hospital conies at a time of mounting concern over safe staffing levels at health care facilities nationwide as well as the of nurses who are expected to begin retiring en masse within the next 10 to 15 years Those concerns increasingly have been sounded
