ft^KMftrVWftArVW^^ Tone your proHans to Qtm w mek- A Boon Or An Evil? Perhaps the most misquoted passage from the Bible is, "For the love of money is the root of all evil", I Timothy 6:10: often misquoted, "money is the root of all evil." Money is a medium of exchange, serving a very necessary function. By honest and industrious endeavor it is laudable to acquire money and the wealth it represents. It is when one makes the acquisition of money and the pleasures it buys the solo aim in life that he becomes its slave .ind therein-lies the evil — the love of money. When wealth is accumulated and used to alleviate poverty, fight disease and suffering, to educate and bring people into the right relationship with God it is a boon 'to mankind — not a root of evil. Your church, your neighbor's church and all : churches use money to accomplish good. We can't all be.accumu- lators of great wealth but we can use a part of what we do acquire to,help the Church accomplish its ministry. We can help in its work by our regular attendance.
