looking into alternative health insurance programs for town employees Town employees now have the choice between Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Valley Health Plan The committee was formed to look into less expensive insurance programs which offer similar benefits Escalated health insurance premiums on the two current insurance plans had Town Meeting voters questioning whether money could be saved with alternative programs During the next fiscal year about $200100 is expected to be spent on health insurance premiums And this accounts for only half the total cost of the premium Town Town Meeting
