Lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, hippopotami, giraffes, antelopes, zebras and other jungle denizens parade across the screen, set against the wildly beautiful background of their habitats. The Johnson party fords rivers with the water over the engines of their cars. They brush aside loathsome crocodiles as if they were flies. Osa Johnson faces and shoots a charging lion which falls twenty feet from her. She stalks the wild game so that she may drive it in range of the camera.

"She and her husband both do things that keep an audience on the edges of their seats. And as a fitting climax to this series of thrills, comes a lion hunt by natives, armed only, with spears. They surround and kill full-grown lions which have killed the tive cattle, hurling their spears until the lion looks like a pincushion. Here, accord-, ing to reports from other cities, is a pic-. tnre that everyone should see.

GORT-JAMAICA "Bed and Bored," a new American comedy of married life, by Edwin Burke, will be presented by Patterson McNutt at the Cort-Jamaica Theatre during the coming week of May 14th. Mr. Burke is well known as the author of more than eighty successful vaudeville sketches. Mr. McNutt is best known for his production of the riotously funny "The Poor Nut." The play is directed by the author.

Mr. McNutt has cast the play with -a distinguished group of actors headed by Minor Watson. Mr. Watson has been recognized recently by New. York managers as the most interesting personality among the younger group of leading men and at the present time is the most sought-after actor in New York.

It has been freely predicted for some time that he needed only the right part in the right play to score a tre- mendous hit. Mr. McNutt believes that in "I love you better than my life."
