After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Kern, wil! be at home at 4803 N. Winthrop, Chicago. The bride was graduated from and Clear attended Lake High School in Humboldt Business College, Minneapolis.

She is now employed in the office of C.B.&Q. Railroad, hi a go. Graduated, from Three Rivers High School, the bridegroom attended Western Michigan University. Mrs. Christians Named President CLEAR LAKE Mrs. P. E. Christians was elected president of Union Dozen Club Tuesday at the home of Mrs.

Al Allen of the Allen Travel Agency showed pictures and, spoke on a trip he took this spring to Central America. He, his wife and Pearl Witke flew to Guatemala, Panaina, Jamaica and Day in Haiti. The Pan-American Highway which will extend from Fairbanks, Brazil, is Alaska, to Rio de Janicro, now being built through Guatemala. His pictures, taken mostly from the air, showed the Panama Canal and surrounding territory which he said has a vast number of government buildings including those of the Armed Forces.
