Al Allen of the Allen Travel Agency showed pictures and spoke on a trip he took this spring to Central America. He, his wife and Pearl Witke flew to Guatemala, Panama, Jamaica and Haiti. He described Fiesta Day in Guatemala City where he was one of 128 Americans welcomed in the parade and convention of travel agents.

The Pan-American Highway which will extend from Fairbanks, Alaska, to Rio de Janiero, Brazil, is now being built through Guatemala. His pictures, taken mostly from the air, shosved the Panama Canal and surrounding territory which he said has a vast number of government buildings including those of the Armed Forces. The club Christmas party will be held Dec. 15 the home of Mrs. William Burkhardt.

Assisting hostesses will be Mrs. H. F. Murphy, Mrs. Ed Lamson, Violet Orcutt and the Misses Ella Ernst and Dorothy Runcie.
