and Mrs. Fred Overbey of Greenfield have announced the engagement. and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Wilma Jean Overbey, Keith Lund, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lund of Fayette, Ia.

The wedding will take place in the First Baptist. Church at Greenfield, August 26. Miss Overbey is a gradunte of Greenfield High School and has completed two years Al Western Illinois State College, Macomb. She is a member of national social sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha. Mr.

Lund 1s a graduate of Port Byron. High School and WAS graduated from Western Illinois State College In 1950. He is a member of Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity. Mr. Lund and bride will reside in Aledo where he is employed as industrial arts instructor in the high school.

Paul E. Depper, Miss Wanda Hooper Wed Paul Edward Depper, son ol Mrs. Lola Depper of Piasa, and Miss Wanda Hooper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivel O.

Hooper of Gillespie, were married at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Gillespie Baptist church. The Rev. Elmer Carter officlated at the double ring ceremony. Mr. Depper, an Alton High School graduate, had Robert Depper, his brother from Piasa, AS besi man.

Miss Hooper, who was given fu marriage by her father, WAS attended by Miss Joan Cullian of Springfield. The bride appeared in A white satin gown fashioned with futt skirt. entrain. Her finger-tip veil of illusion fell from a liet cap trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses tied with satin streamers.

A reception and dinner follawed the wedding taking place at the Home cafe, Gillespie. Mr. Depper and bride aro employed in Springfiold and will make their home there. Mrs. Depper is 8 graduate of Gillespie High School, and ot Brown's Business College, in Springfield.

Miss Dwyer wore a white lace ballerina length frock. Enslijoned with a strapless bodice and A blue overskirt of net, white lace duster and hat.

She carried 8 white prayer book, a gift of the groom, covered with 8 cascade arrangement of baby orchids and lilles of the volley, centered with 8 large white orchid. Miss Molloy appeared in a blue ballerina frock of Ince. She wore a of blue daisies, and white headdress, basket filled with blue daisies and sellow rosebuds. Altar cases filled with white roses and gardenias were placed DI1 the high altar before which the wedding took place. Blue daisies and yellow roses decoraled the side altars.

Mr. and Mrs. Rohannon will reside at No. 17 Sixty- first street, Long Beach, after honeymoon in Santa Barbara, Calif. Following the wedding A reception was held at the couple's future home.
