THE GREAT STAR ROUTE Serious Work Predicted by the Orsad Jary This Week The Tariff Commission Going to Worla Another Cal I for Honda Iasaed. By Telegraph to the Recount Washinoto July 10. There promises to be serious work by the Grand Ju-y this week in the matter of the Star Route cases. It is believed that the witnesses to be summoned will make at least a prima facie case against one of the persona already under indictment, and possibly against a United States Senator. The imtter is exciting much interest in political circles.

There seems to be little doubt that payments of money to somebody to the amount of 20,000 by J. H. Price, tbe indicted and absconded Star Route contractor, will be defluitely proved. There seems to be little doubt that Ihe matter will be honestly and thor oughly presented to the Grand Jury. The Tsrlft oiutnlulon.

Washinotoh, July 10. The Tariff Com- iniKKiim will probably not continue its ses sions much longer in this city. One of the members says it is probable that tbe Com- mission will soon go to New York, where it will remain some time. Afterward all the commercial centres of Cie country will be visited and the subject of the tariff studied in all its astiects. While there is every udication at present of harmonious proceed ings, the time allowed for the work of the Commission is limited, and some of tbe members doubt their ability to finish It within tbe time allowed.
