LuYeme folks at funeral of Mrs. Nelson LuVerne—Funeral services for Mrs, Bertha Nelson, 89, were held Wednesday -at the Bethany Lutheran church in Frost, Minn. She had lived at the trinity Mission Home in Buffalo Center. Attending the funeral from here were the Eanle Han- selmans, LeRoy Hanselmans Mrs. Anna Hanselman, Jane Hanselman, Cedar Falls George Hanselman, Ames. and The OUf (Cleveland* moved Thursday to the Paul Northrup farm; They previously lived on a farm near Goldfield. The Lutheran Aid furnished a treat of maid-rites and chocolate milk for the Sunday school children Sunday afternoon af ter their Christmas five program practice. Linda MeVay, Humboldt, was a Sunday guest with the Fay Harmons. Her fiance, Gordon Harmon, returned Friday from Texas after having finished 'his National Guard training. Supper guests of Sherman Arends Monday for the 3rd Dirthday of their daughter, Joni were Mrs. Jessie Stripling and Mike, and Laurie Ooyle. Evening guests were the Clem Striplings. The Rex Lius have a girl, Lirio, 8 Ibs. 7 ozs., born Nov. 21. Mrs. Liu is the former LeOta Ann, daughter of the John Voss- es Jr. The Lius have one other girl, Lancy. They are mow visit ing her parents in Taipei, For mosa, and will return to the U. S. sometime in, March. The Sherman Arends and Joni had Sunday dinner at his sisters, the James Dueas, Humboldt. Other guests were the Grover Arends, Williams, and Josie Arends, Rochester, Minn. The John Vosses, Jr., and her aunts, Anna Murray and Jessi mine Miller, liver more, were Sunday guests of their son, the Delmar Vosses, Eagle Grove.
