New Home for Brooklyn Repertory Theater. The pathway of good drama is literally a stony one in this borough. Ever since their opening night on February fifteenth the Brooklyn Repertory Theater Company has been treading the pavements looking for a home. It was on this night that an eleventh-hour visitation from representatives of various city departments surprised the players in their modest home at Four Court Square, 'and announced that not only must the audience be limited in number and the use of the balcony abandoned, but that the building might no longer be the domicile of "Good Plays at Low Prices." Thus did the first appearance of the Brooklyn Repertory Theater Company become a one-night stand. However, the spirits of the committee backing the players rose to the occasion.

Once more a home has been found where dramatic art seems safe from the despotic rule of those who hold sway over the world of fancy as well as the world of fact. Hereafter the purveyors of the best in drama may be seen at the auditorium of the Central Branch of the Y.M.C.A., 55 Hanson Place. Change of Date for Brooklyn Repertory Theater Production. The production originally scheduled for March second will, on account of the change of theaters, take place at the new address one week later, on March ninth. The original bill, "Zaragueta," will be played.

"Zaragueta" is a comedy by Asa and Carrion. It is characteristic of modern life in a Spanish village. It abounds in humor, both in line and in situation. Prominent in the cast is Ethel Rosemon, whom Brooklynites will remember both as an amateur, before she entered upon her professional career, and afterward in important roles under some of the best managements. Miss Rosemon took a leading part in dramatics while at Barnard College.

Edith Seabury, Emily McLean, Lillian Brennard, Content Paleo: logue, Taylor Graves, Ralph Bradley, Hubert Osborne, Philip Tonge, Robert Williamson and Louis Hallet will also appear, assuring an excellent cast. All of these players have appeared in New York successes. Packer Ice Skating Party Next Monday at Brooklyn Ice Palace. Although Packer 1913 has charge of the Ice Skating Party which will be given at the Brooklyn Ice Palace on Monday evening of next week, Packer undergraduates and other alumnae will attend in many parties. Tickets may be obtained from Miss Marjorie Walker of 210 Berkeley Place or at the door on that evening.

AS Engagement of Brooklyn Interest. Brigadier-General John A. Lejeune, U.S.M.C., and Mrs. Lejeune announce the engagement of their daughter. Miss Ellie Murdaugh Lejeune, to Lieutenant James Blair Glennon, U.S.N., son of.

the Commandant of the Navy Yard and Mrs. James H. Glennon. Miss Lejeune was presented to Washington society last season. Her parents went to Washington two years ago from the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where her father had been on duty four years.

Commander and Mrs. Glennon have been in Washington a little over a year, going there from Annapolis. Lieutenant Glennon is on duty aboard the U.S.S. Arisona, now at New York. The wedding day is not set, but will probably be in the spring.

Mr. Albert C. Hillson to Marry Mrs. D. M.

McLaughlin. The engagement has been announced of Mrs. D. Maujer McLaughlin of 252 Brooklyn Avenue, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Charles N. Chatfield of Brooklyn, to Mr. Al bert C. Hillson, son of Mr. and Mrs.

David R. Hillson of 120 East Nineteenth Street, Flatbush. Mr. and Mrs. I.

H. Hance, Entertain. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin H.

Hance, Jr. (Jeannette Stone Torrey) entertained over the past week-end at their home in Ridgewood, N.J., Miss Agnes H. Bigelow, Miss Jeannette Ross, Mr. Hubert Bassett and Mr. George Gillies.

On Saturday of next week Dr. Irvin H. Hance of Lakewood, N.J., will give a house-party in honor of his son and daughter-inlaw. The guests will number about twenty-five and will include the members of the wedding party. Mr.

and Mrs. Hance, were married the latter part of January. Eight Hundred Dollars for the Packer Endowment Fund. Packer classes of 1915 and 1916 may well feel proud of the success of their theater party for "Good Gracious, Annabelle," which they gave at the Montauk on Monday of last week; they cleared over eight hundred dollars for the benefit of the Packer Endowment Fund. The audience was particularly interesting, the occasion serving also as a reunion for the undergraduates and alumnae.

Glancing at the attractive program cover, I noticed it was designed by Miss Kathleen Rutter, who also did excellent work as chairman of the sales committee. Others on the executive committee for the evening were Miss Helen Parker, Miss Charlotte Stege, Miss Marguerita Fransioli, Miss Frances D. Arthur and Miss Ruth Field..
