N.H. Kenneth MacGown, 67 of 20 Exchange Concord. N.H.. died unexpectedly May 14 at Concord. He was born in Jefferson, N.H.

was formerly of Gorham, N.H. and attended the Gorham schools. He was a New Hampshire Highway Department designer engineer for more than 20 years and was a registered professional engineer. and had resided in Concord for many years. He was a member of the New Hampshire Family Campers Association and was a past trustee of the First Baptist Church in Concord.

The family includes his widow, Ms. Arlene MacGown; two sons, Ronald K. MacGown, Concord, and Marshall MacGown, Dexter, Maine; his mother, Mrs. Harriet MacGown, South Paris, Maine: a brother, Lester MacGown, South Paris, Maine: three sisters. Mrs.

Adeline Rosati. Springfield, Mrs. Dorothy Cole. Canaan, and Mrs. Evelyn Young South Paris and eight grandchildren.

Services were held May 17. at the First Baptist Church, Concord, with Rev. Walter S. Holder officiating. Interment was in Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord.

Normand Rollins TURNER Normand R. Rollins, 47, Bradford Road, was pronounced dead on arrival the CMG Hospital late Wednesday night. Rollins was born in Lewiston, December 27. 1928, the son of Joseph and Florence, Girardin Rollins. He Turner schools and was a graduate of Leavitt Institute '47 and the of in Orono.

He was married November 30, 1957 to Nancy E. Estler at Saddle River, New Jersey. They lived in Springfield, and Peoria, before returning to Turner in 1965. He was associated with Rollins Auto Sales in Turner for some time joining Kilbreth-Rollins Realty, Auburn, in 1969. Rollins was a member of Ashlar Lodge of Masons AM and FM.

Carol Morris, North Turner: two brothers, Richard and Peter, both of Turner. George Turner NORTH MONMOUTH George Errold Turner, 70, of 101 Sherburne Manchester, N.H., died at the VA Hospital, Boston, on Wednesday. He was born May 6, 1906. in Waterville, the son of Budd W. and Mabel Canwell Turner.

He was educated in Lewiston and Rumford schools and Monmouth Academy. Mr. Turner was chief radio operator in World War II. retiring in 1956. For many years he worked at the Winthrop Woolen Mills, North Monmouth.

Elliot Hospital, the Manchester Savings Bank and Sacred Heart Hospital, Manchester, N.H. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter. Manchester. N.H., and the VFW in Winthrop. Surviving is a sister.

Weatherbee. 68. of the Maine Supreme Court. a Hampden resident, died Thursday night at the Eastern Maine General Hospital at Bangor were he was taken following an acute attack of heart disease on Wednesday.

He had combined his law studies with duties as a clerk of the Maine Legislature's Committee on Indian Affairs. The justice was first nominated to the Maine Superior Court by then Gov.

Burton Cross in 1954 and became the state's youngest Superior Court justice. His first sitting on the Superior Court bench was scheduled to take place in Androscoggin County, but he and Justice Donald W. Webber exchanged assignments so that Justice Weatherbee could serve his first term at Bangor. Webber handled the assignment in his own home county of Androscoggin. Early in his career.

Justice Weatherbee was a state representative and during his term in the legislature he championed a state lottery bill and the won passage of a measure which reformed professional boxing in Maine. In 1940, instead of seeking another term in the legislature, Justice Weatherbee was elected county attorney for Penobscot County, and later in the year resigned the post to enter military service. He served from 1940 to 1944 in World War II and then was elected judge of probate, for that. Penobscot position until County he was appointed to the Superior Court bench in 1953 by Governor Cross. At that time he was 45 years of age.

Gov. John H. Reed elevated Weatherbee to the Maine Supreme Court in 1966. and in 1973 Justice Weatherbee received a second seven-year term appointment. As a Superior Court justice, Weatherbee presided at numerous terms of Androscoggin Superior Court over the years before he was elevated to the Maine Supreme Court.

Chief Justice Armand Dufresne Jr. of Lewiston of the Maine Supreme Court was one of the first notified of the death of the associate justice and he. in turn. Thursday night was notifying the other associate justices. Justice Weatherbee was a.

native of Lincoln and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Artemus Weatherbee. Justice Weatherbee had been a life-long resident of the Hampden area. and a son, Peter, maintains a law office now at Bangor.

Besides the son, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Barbara Weatherbee: and a daughter Solveig Boucher Mrs. Solveig Boucher. 51, formerly of Lewiston, died unexpectedly at Hafnarfird, Iceland, Tuesday morning. SOLVEIG BOUCHER She was born on Dec.

1, 1924. Her husband was Roger Boucher, chief petty officer retired, formerly of Rachel Boulvard, Lewiston, who died Oct. 4, 1975. Mrs. Boucher was employed at the Belle- Moc Shoe Co.

while living in this community. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Asbjorn J. Bertmann of Iceland: and two sons, Gudmundur Brandson and Andur D. Georgedottir of Iceland.

Greene, Maine, ormerly of Berlin, Wednesday CMG Hospital, Lewiston, Maine. She was born Oct. 23, 1911 in Lewiston, Maine the daughter of Thomas and Roseanna Provencher Tremaine. She had resided in Greene, Maine, for the past three year coming from Berlin, N.H., where she had resided most of her life. She was a member of St.

Hortense B. Stevens, 75, died Thursday at Nicholson Nursing Home, Winthrop, after a long illness. The daughter of Will and Bell Hartwell Butler, she was born March in Phillips. She was graduated" from Phillips High School in 1919 and from Hebron Academy in 1920. After graduation, she studied voice in Boston, and New York.

In 1931, she was graduated from CMG Hospital School of Nursing in Lewiston and was a member of the staff of that hospital for many years. In May 1931, she married Clifford Stevens and they were associated with Teague and Stevens Funeral Home, 391 Main Lewiston for many The Nine Shangrila in Auburn which they built in 1948. she owned and operated until of 1974. Mr. Stevens died 11951.

Prominent in many fraternal organizations over the years, she was a member of Sherburne Chapter, OES, Phillips later affiliating with Mt. Olivet Chapter, Lewiston in which she served as worthy matron, in 1939: she was elected worthy grand matron of the Grand Chapter, OES, State of Maine in 1943-44. She was appointed worthy grand electa of the International Grand Chapter of Eastern Star, the first Maine woman to hold an office in the general grand chapter. She was a worthy high priestess of Rugged Cross Shrine, the White Shrine of Jeruselum: a past queen of Arok Temple Daughters of the Nile and holder of the Grand Cross of Constantine and a past president of the Daughters of St. George, Lewiston.

She held membership in North Franklin Grange, Phillips, State and National Grange the CMG Hospital Alumni and Phillips Congregational Church. A niece is the only near survivor. Flora B. Richardson, 63, died Thursday morning at the CMG Hospital after a long illness. She was born at Raymond, March 22, 1913, the daughter of Charles and Lizzie' Winslow Berry. Mrs. Richardson moved to Westbrook as a young girl and graduated from Westbrook High School, class of 1931.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Norway more than 40 years. She was a member and past noble grand of the Mt. Hope Rebekah Lodge, a member and past matron of Oxford Chapter, OES. member of the United Methodist Church, Norway, member of the Women's Society of Christian Services and treasurer for several years. Mrs.

Richardson was a member of the Heywood Club. Norway, and a charter member and past worthy advisor of the Westbrook Chapter, Order of Rainbow Girls. She was married to Lewis Richardson, Dec. 19, 1932, Survivors besides her husband are a son. Robert L.

of Norway, and two grandsons. Mrs. Marby Marble DIXFIELD Mrs. Mary Jane Marble, 90, widow of Jerome F. Marble, died early Thursday afternoon at Rumford Community Hospital.

Wood AUGUSTA Edward Ovice Wod, 76. of 47. Longwood died at the Augusta General Hospital, Thursday morning, after a long illness. He was born Aug. 27, 1899 in Dixfield, the son of Seward and Theresa Marden Wood.

He had been employed as a forman in woolen mills in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine and most recently as maintenance supervisor at Liv. Falls Shoe Co. retiring in 1969. Following retirement, he lived in Winthrop until three years when he moved to Augusta to make his home with his daughter. He was a member of Mt.
