Interment Wai in the St Joseph's cemetery at Wesley. Son of Albert and Lydia Smith' Grant, he was born Dec. 22, 1913 in Plum Creek township in Kossuth County. His education was received in the school at Plum Creek where he grew to manhood. On April 27, 1938 he was united in marriage to Miss Madelian toertsoh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Foertsch, at St. Joseph's church, Wesley. The couple had farmed near Wesley or seveiral years. Mr. and Mrs. Grant moved to Britt several •ears ago, and he became an em- >loyee of the Stevenson Feed Co. for the past recent months he *as been in failing health, and confined,to his home and hospitals.
