Three East Alton Mishaps Reported KAST ALTON Three minor traffic accidents have boon reported to the local police department since noon Monday, The first mishap occurred at 12:15 p. m. Monday at the corner of Dry and Shamrock streets.

Involved in the mishap were, a parked car and a delivery truck of tho Seymour News Agency. The truck was being driven by Everett Rhyne, 13,.422 and another companion over the Western Cartridge Co. bus parking lot without the owner's knowledge. When the boys turned off the parking lot: the parked car, property of Lilly Lohr, 905 Washington, Alton, was struck and damaged in the front end. The second mishap occurred at 12:15 a.

m. today at the corner of St. Louis and Washington avenues Involving throe cars. A car driven by Eileen Kennedy, 3024 Brown, Alton, struck (he back end of a car parked on St. Louis avenue, belonging to R.

C. Lanham, 29-18 Hillcrest, Alton, which in turn struck the rear end of the car parked immediately in front, of it belonging to John Kokorudz, 119 Norwood Place. Both the parked cars were unoccupied at the time of the accident. The Kennedy car was damaged about the front end and right, side. The Lanham car was damaged on the left side and both rear and front ends and the Kokorudz car was damaged.

Both parked cars were headed west, and the Kennedy car was raveling west on the highway at the time of the mishap. No injuries were reported. A third accident was reported police at 7:50 a. today. The mishap occurred at the intersection of.

Wayne Counton, 521 Washington, driver of one of the vehicles stopped to speak with the foreman on the storm sewer project when a car driven by Harry Fraser, 636 Ferguson, Wood River struck it.
