Impressive On Mound Double Wins For Brooks Wyatt Ends Holdout Salary Reported $17500 DAYTONA BEACH FLA Whitlow Wyatt last of the major top-flight holdouts signed a one-year contract to pitch for the Brooklyn Dodgers yesterday at a reported salary of Jli500 Wyatt only would say that a satisfactory agreement had been reached between him and President Larry MacFhail of the Dodgers and that his contract carried no bonus clauses The Georgia farmer won 22 games for Brooklyn last season at a reported salary of $11500 This spring he held out for $20000 and MacPhail countered with $13500 Giants Lose To Nats 6-1 and bonus clauses The pitcher and MacPhail held a brief conference in New York in the laie winter with Wyatt returning tc his Dixie farm and MacPhail going to Cuba where the Dodgers however curved over a second strike and then saw Dejan lift a high fly to Don Padgett in the outfield Johnny Rizzo won the game for Brooklyn in the first frame by slamming a double with the bases
