Airport 988-8116 TITO SKOKIE (AP) Their high school yearbooks should have dubbed Shell and Judy Norris the "most likely to succeed." The couple have begun a unique business, Class Reunion that tracks down high school alumni and plans class reunions. "One night while we were eating chicken, I came up with the idea," Norris said. "Why not plan someone else's reunion from beginning to end?" It fills quite a few needs Michael Stevenson's, for one. Stevenson was homesick for Chicago. Living in San Francisco for years, one day he picked up the phone in a fit of nostalgia and dialed Class Reunion.

Could they throw a party for Schurz High School's class of '58? "We told him we're already doing his reunion," said Mrs. Norris. "We had been looking for him!" She said calls from across the nation and mail from around the world have come since she and her husband launched Class Reunion about a year ago. "We do something nobody else does," Norris said. "We track down and find alumni for reunion parties." The Norrises operate out of their Skokie apartment, armed with a telephone book and high school yearbooks.

They track down graduates, send out invitations and even attend the reunions, which they plan from start to finish. The business should make about $60,000 next year enough so that Mrs. Norris, 45, has given up her job with a small advertising agency. And Norris, a seafood distributor who especially liked the idea because his own high school class couldn't find him, puts in about 30 hours a week on the business. Class Reunion major revenue source is a $2 service fee collected from those who attend reunions.

The couple have found graduates in such far-flung spots as Baghdad, Iraq, and Vienna, Austria. The Norrises say their business has reunited old friends separated for many years, and rekindled old loves. They recall a bittersweet anecdote about a recent 25th class reunion: The man some had considered the school's shyest student didn't attend, but he called long distance to have a bottle of wine placed on the table of a woman who had been one of the most popular girls. "Twenty-five years later he sent her this bottle of wine," Mrs. Norris said.

"Back in high school, she didn't even know he existed. And that night, she still didn't remember him." A film that you'll never forget. A A Mon-Thurs (6:00 at $1.75) this 8:15 7 year sleeper. Nielsen Co. scoring system. With the highest rating of the week ended Sept. 11, the Monday night game helped lift ABC out of its previous third place in the Neilsen ratings, over CBS and NBC.

For the record, Dallas downed Washington 31-30 in the return of National League Football to nighttime TV. The only other non-rerun among the top 10 shows was the premiere of the NBC comedy, We've Got It Made, which came in second. The show, from former NBC president Fred Silverman, is about two young bachelors who hire a beautiful young blonde as a live-in maid. ABC also introduced a show from its new fall lineup. Lottery, about people who win millions of dollars in a lottery, was in 14th place.

ABC was on top with a network average of 15.1 in the Nielsen survey: CBS, in second, had an average of 14.1 and third-place NBC had 11.7. The networks say this means in an average prime-time minute 15.1 percent of the television homes were tuned to ABC. The fall season doesn't open until Monday, Sept. 26, but some series, such as We've Got It Made and Lottery, are being released early. The Nielsen Co.

said the total number of television households has increased to 83.8 million from the previous figure of 83.3 million. This means that a ratings point now equals 838,000 homes and is reflected in the report beginning with this ratings period.
