Angeles. Jan. Watson Seager, a musical composer of note, died here today. He was 62 years of age. Among the many compositions of Seager, his cantata.

"Queen Esther." probably was the most popular. Seager came to California about nine years ago, and lived here with his son, F. W. Seager. Two children survive him.
