Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an empire gown of white peau de sole, featuring a lace jacket with bracelet- -length, bell sleeves. The skirt swept into a chapel train. The gown was made by the bride's sister, Mra. 0, L. Bellar.

The bride's tour -tiered veil of tulle was held by a cluster of satin roses. She carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums, carnations and rosebuds accented with English Ivy.
