MECHANICSBURG Two Ohio historical societies The Ohio Historical Society's State Museum at Columbus and the dark County Historical Society at Springfield have benefited from new furnishings recently in- stalled in the Mechanicsburg Exempted Village Elementary School classrooms On a 12th anniversary visit of the fifth grade of the school to Columbus and in particular the Ohio State Museum the Ohio vf eiecxricai siorm rriaay night Coroner Austin Richards said Saturday Benito Arnold Plasencia of Nagley rd South Charleston Route 2 was found dead in the yard of his home by his wife shortly before 6:30 pm Friday The family said Mr Plasencia walked into his yard barefooted when a severe lightning and thunder storm struck the area He was found apparently dead a lightning charge carried by the post and wire There were no burn areas where the feet were grounded on the moist earth but Coroner Richards said authoritative sources indicate a body may be burned by lightning without showing exterior burns only interior damage to the body Mr Plasencia was born in Bellefontaine on Feb 10 1916 He was employed at Wright-Pat-terson Air Force Base Survivors include his wife Addie two sons Dale which may cost as much as $100000 has been launched at the Waco Aircraft Co Renovation as well as expansion work is now under way at the plant Existing facilities are being overhauled and space being
