the 465th Bombardment Wing (SAC) at Robins AFB Betty still possessing an attractive figure and a young outlook on life was one of the top show business figures in the 1930s and 1940s She worked with such greats as the Red Nichols Band Lou Holtz and Lyda Roberts Joe Penner Victor Moore and worked summer stock with the Shuberts until 1945 A native of Montreal Canada Betty recalls that she ran away during World War II Her husband Colonel Little came to Robins AFB originally in 1945 shortly after he married Betty Shortly thereafter he left the service to continue his education and received his BA degree from Fresno State College Calif and then his Masters degree at New York University in physical therapy He went to UCLA to get his degree but he had to give it up when he was recalled into the Air Force in 1953 He returned to Robins in October 1963 after tours in Korea Europe and other assignments At Robins he served with the Office of Special Investigations District 6 until August 1965 when he became director of personnel with the 465th Bomb Wing Colonel Little will retire in February 1968 The Littles plan to travel for a few months fish play bridge and visit friends made in their
