Tuesday, April 26, 1966 Nancy Walker Of Whittemore Is Receptionist Se/ivice HARDWARE STORES NANCY WALKER Nancy J. Walker, graduate of Professional Business Institute of Minneapolis, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph M. Walker, Whittemore, is now employed as receptionist at Wilson Trailer Co. at Sioux City. Si Joe 4-H Clubs Select Camp Delegates ST. JOE - The April 16 meeting of the Riverdale Rustlers 1 4-H club was held at the St. Joseph's school hall. Hedge of Allegiance was led by Sandy Wagner. Group activity consisted of exchanging perennial flowers, also showing finished blouses. Illustrated talks on how to best use accessories were given by Suzanne Reding, Darlene Hathe, Barbara McGuire and Ellen Bormann. Demonstrations were given by Sandy Wagner on zippers and Ruth Ann Thilges on attaching skirt bands. The food and nutrition girls (Judy Kollasch, Ruth Ann Thilges and Colleen Reding) gave a demonstration on how to prepare pizza. The club elected Jane Reding, Darlene Rathe, Judy Kollasch and Maribeth Thilges to attend 4-H camps this summer. Ruth Ann Thilges and her mother were hostesses with mothers as guests. Riverdale Rustlers Unit 114-H club met April 16. Hedge of Allegiance was led by Sandy Kollasch and the 4-H pledge by Suzanne Reding. Linda Mae Reding, Jean Reding and Sandy Kollasch were elected by the club to attend 4-H camp this, summer. Illustrated talks were given by Dianne Bormann, Sandy Kollasch, Mary Thilges. Demonstrations were given by Linda Reding, Elizabeth Zeimet and Jane McGuire. The Food and Nutrition girls gave a demonstration on how to prepare pizza. For group activity each girl was to bring her finished blouse and a perennial flower exchange was held. Mothers were guests for this meeting. Ruth Ann Thilges and her mother were hostesses, with Mrs. Adeline Wagner and Vickie McGuire receiving prizes. - b~ Mrs. Ed Andrelinas, Medicine Lake, Montana, is visiting friends and relatives here and will attend the wedding on Saturday of her nephew. Mrs. Andrelinas the former Susie Zeimet Friders, is the daughter of Math Zeimet and sister of Eugene Zeimet, both of St. Joe. Mr. and Mrs. John Thul were •visitors Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Nick Eischen, St. Benedict. Mr. Eischen returned home the first of the week from Park hospital where he had been a medical patient several weeks. Mrs. Eischen and Mrs. Thul are sisters. Stroke Workshop A one-day stroke workshop will be held on May 5 at the Good Samaritan Center in Algona. It is one of a series being sponsored state-wide by the Iowa Heart Association. Plum Creek Elite The regular meeting of the Plum creek Elite was held April 9 at the home of Linda Gardner, with 13 members present. Patti Marshall was installed as a new member. A talk was given by Diane Bode and a demonstration was given by Annette Gilbride. Mrs. Glen Gabrielson was guest mother. Next meeting will be our annual Mother's Day Tea, May 14.
