Tents Are Very Popular Aigona, (la.) Upp*r DM Molne* Tuesday, April 19, 1966 pattern alterations. JudyBerger is working on a two-piece suit. Judy Thomsen, Sharon Menneke and Judy Berger are making plans for their spring formals. This concludes the three sewing workshops for the A. O. K*s. Mrs. McEvoy and Mrs. Berger are leaders and Mrs. Litnbaugh, sewing project leader. ADDING MACHINES & TYPEWRITERS At The Upper DCS Moines. The Aigona A. 0. K. 4-H Club senior girls met at the home of Judy Thomson for their club workshop April 15. Mrs. Lawrence Menke of Bancroft came to help the leaders with any problems the girls might have on the article under construction. Mary McEvoy was ready to begin work on her 4-H uniform. A demonstration was given on how to measure for pattern and Diamond's display at the Sportarama here April 15-17 was tended by the boss himself, Phil, on the left in the above photo. He and Mrs. Diamond, at the right, were chatting with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Buscher, Sr., well-known Algonans, who didn't have any of their 46 grandchildren with them at the Friday session of the show. We don't know for sure, but it looks like Phil and the Buschers were talking tents when the shutter snapped. Diamond's display, like many others at the show, was filled to over-flowing with camping supplies and sporting goods. Displays, set up in the floral hall and a huge adjoining tent, were quite attractive, according to visitors.
