Patriots Stand Alone in Strike against Owners Radio Station Protests Strike Action GREENVILLE (UPI) Radio Station WHYZ reacting to the strike by the New England Patriots announced Monday it will no longer carry any reports on the National Football League "The players have protested the owners and the managers have protested we think it is about time for the fans to protest" said station manager Ray Somers The Patriots' strike forced cancellation of their game with the New York Jets "This is the straw that broke the camel's back" Somers said "I mean we have had enough with the temperamental football players and the money hungry Somers said the station would carry no scores or any item about NFL football which goes into its regular season next weekend last NFL players strike The Patriots
