The patrons of the district gathered and enjoyed a basket dinner and were entertained with a program by the pupils. Mrs. Long wos pleasantly surprised when the directors gave her an $80.00 bonus. The teacher gave gifts to Mabel Dorrell, Linden Dor-rell, Rollie Dorrell and Richard Still for perfect attendance and gave candy bars to all the pupils. We all wish the Longs much happiness in their new home in St.

Louis. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Deskins and Jean of north Salem, Mr. and Mrs.

Paul Cordrey, and Mr. and Mrs. John Cordray and family all visited last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Crodray an dsons.

"TROUBLE IN PARADISE" Be sure and come to see the comedy "Trouble in Paradise," a college play of a group of students who get into more scrapes. They always manage to escape with due punishment, of course. The trouble all starts by the students trying to keep beautiful Jean Harmon, whose finances have failed, in school. In their efforts to keep Jean in school they have a lottery, which is illegal. Miss Whed-bee, the house matron, catches them in the act.

i In last week's Breeze a brief review of what happened there was recorded. This week we I give you only the sidelights. We were given our choice, more or less, as to whom we wished to ride with. However, some alterations occurred for the return trip. During the morning session it was noted that the boys spent their time itii in the balcony, looking i' owd over.

We are sorry women. At noon we our line trying to push on? out of line, to cir i in. or to get three jto; i one little door at the same time. In the afternoon there was a dance and certain girls were searching for a pair of low heeled shoes. We went to visit the School of Osteopathy.

During the afternoon one boy from Puzzle Ridge arranged an engagement for another boy who was from the river bottom. Some went to Macon but others seemed satisfied where they were. A few of the girls found boys from other towns that they knew.
