handwriting into an erotic experience He uses multiple image techniques in a most unusual and satisfying way Vivian Wu is a young woman taught the art of writing by her grandfather whose methodology was quite unorthodox write all over her body stating that God created humans gave them names then wrote their names on their lips so never forget them Seeing that his creation was good God then signed his name on them Wu takes her grandfather's art and moves it to a new level She searches foralover with perfect skin so she can write books on his body Wu also gets erotic experiences from having men write on her body The tale is a little kinky but Greenaway pulls it off with extraordinarily original film techniques Fast Cheap and Out of Control Fast Cheap and Out of Control is a misleading title not fast who knows where cheap came from but it is a little out of control Errol Morris a documentary filmmaker who got raves for The Thin Blue Line and A Brif History qf Time" fails to generate as much interest in this film as his others It's a series of interviews with a lion tamer a mole rat expert a robot designer and a topiary gardener interwoven with scenes of them practicing their crafts The four men talking about themselves doesn't work at all What does is Morris's absorbing images of them at work At first the footage of each person is exclusive to his interview but gradually Morris weaves the footage together blending the stories into a unit It's an interesting technique that comes too late in the movie to make the movie palatable Gobbeh Gobbeh gives area viewers a rare Wild Things is a twisting winding mystery with a plot as humid and oppressive as its Everglades setting And it oozes with sex violence and kinky characters Anyone seen the trailer for Wild Things knows the producers are selling the sizzle of Neve Campbell and Denise Richards as high school girls who set up their counselor Or do they set him up?
