Termed a program "By and for the production was presented by The Little Theatre of New Philadelphia for an audience of one hundred and twenty-five club members and guests. Done three scenes, the program was a clever adaptation of the veil known theme concerning the far reaching effects of gossip. The production was staged under the direction of Mrs.

Joe Fra- ga.ssc of this city and the cast included Mrs. Harold Heller. Mrs. Earl Smith, Mrs. Hiram Taylor.

Thp evening's splendid pro gram had been arranged by members of the clubs program mittee which includes Mrs Paul Garver, Mrs Frank LcPage. Mrs. Nadine Harkei and Mrs. Kirk, all of Dover Hostesses for the evening were members of the club's social committee. Mrs.

Robert O. Wcible, Mrs. Walter B. Scott. Mrs.

Alvin V. Lind and Mrs. Zoliar. all of Dover. and Mrs James Patrick of ttys city Refreshments were served a prettily arranged buffet table which was centered with spring flowers against the sackrround of a lace cloth.

Ferns were intermingled with the pink carnations, pink snapdragons and jonquils of the centerpiece and entwined the white tapers arranged about the flowers. Mrs. Walter Rees, the newly elected president of the club for its 1955-56 season, and Mrs Thomas Mo presided. Shower Honors Mrs. R.

Charnock Guests presented gifts to Mrs Richard Charnock when Mrs. Glenn Bolivar entertained rent ly. The party was held in the Charnock home at 235 Shngluff ave. Dover. Vtending the shower were Miss Josephine Wrber.

Walker and Mrs. Linn. Youth Group Has Dinner Meeting Members of the Youth Group of ihc First Church of Christ. West High Avenue, enjoyed a covered dish dinner on Sunday evening in the church social hall. Covers were laid for thirty-one at tables decorated with a patriotic theme.

A worship service was conducted in the sanctuary and recreation was conducted in the social room. The new pastor of the church the Rev. Scott Simyr, was in charge. Guests Entertained At A. M.

A group of was played by string ensemble composed of Mrs. Delmar L. Gintz. Mrs. Robert Meese and Miss Harriet McFftdden all of Dover and Miss Lucille Mann of this city.

Their selections included Sonata in G. Opus 2.1 Number 2, Handel; "Pastorale" by Vivaldi, and by Corelli. or the second group of numbers on the program, a vocal ensemble presented a song cycle of four love poems by Frederick Martens, set i to music by Ethelbert Nevin and titled "A Dav in Venice." In the ensemble were Mrs. Dale Allison, Mrs David Voting and Mias Marat et Jonrs, all of Dover, and Mrs. John Gray.

B. And P. W. Club Members Hear Talk By Atty. Patrick "Wills and What You Should Know about Them was the subject for discussion at a meeting last night of the Dover New Philadelphia Business and Professional Women's Club.

The meeting was held in the offices of Marsh Wall Products Inc and was the second in a series ol lectures planned by the Education -Vocations committee concerning income management. The speaker, Atty. James E. Patrick of Philadelphia clearly defined some of the legal technicalities as well as practical aspects of drawing wills and illus trated his talk with interesting ex amples. Party Compliments Mrs. Ed Von Bergen Mrs. Ed Von Bergen of 145 Third Annual Martha Washington Tea Given Here Yesterday "God's Trombones" was the title of the program given yesterday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church when the Women's Association of the church held its annual Martha Washington Tea. Capacity audiences were present for the programs at both sessions of the tea Directed by Miss Betty McCreary. the program was adapted from James Weldon Johnsons book of American Negro sermons of which the author has made extensive study.
