OLNEY TIMES. KailrutMl. MoWeg East. 4,00 M. friend Wilson has finally come out a a.nsi Township Organization.

It took him some time to nofk himself up to that point. He i consulted the frunds as well as the enemies of that measure. Sometimes he spoke in faror of it--some- iirnes n. But at last, in obedience to town clique, he has come to the conclusion that it will te oppresive to the weaker Townships, CUCBECTED WEEKLY BV WJI. 'lour, ugar, aolassos Joflce, bu.

The metting at the Court lart Monday, was largely attended by the citizens of tbe co uniy who came 10 hear the discussion. Mr. A. Kitchell, regaled his audience with one of his able, argumemive speeches, IB which be shjwed up the inconsistencies of ihe Democratic party, and the tendency of that party to spread the institution of slavery over all the tnia Union. Mr.

Kitchell, in alluding lo Judge Douglaa and his don't care policy, showed that he was not to be trusted in the Senate of the United Slates, as he had no regard for the imprest of this great Nat en, nor did he care for the institutions that were to be built Up in our country, ihrefore he was not the man to represent a free people. Mr. Kitch ell's speech beibg. full of sound argument, and listened to with marked respect, and waa frequently applauded by his hearers. After he goi through, Mr.

Preston arose to reply and set tut in hia usual style, by chargiug the Republicans with being the negio equality party, using hia numerous nereotyped phrases, introducing aaold and long since re fated charge that the Republican party were in favor of negro equality which was shown by his own vi lent.e that the Republican, party did not until long after the act ul tbe Legislature rcfered tc by him This will avail him. nothing among sersable in en in an eicauge that a gentleman of Ohio, intends having on exhibition, at the Illindis State Fair, a drove of Caahmere Goats -We understand that President Bu- cfjanan is also expected to be present oa that occasion, but whether he in- couipe with the Goats for a we are unable to is controlled by the wealthiest men in the County, and is advocating the measure. Now this is flattering to us lo be clashed as one of the weal- men of the county--a piece of in- ormation we are sorry to say is not rue; however, it is DO repro ch. If our policy has been such that we iave been fortuna.e enough to accumulate "omi piopeity, it is an evi- deuee, at least, that the policy we advocate for ihe administration of our County affairs, is entitled to consideration, the policy that will be calculated to lessen the expenses of County, and the building up of a sound and judicious administration business is the only true policy to be adopted for our common rood, and, to our mi'd, Township Organization the true policy for Ricnlaud County. Negro Equality. Our Demecratic friends appear to be terribly exercised on the sub ject of "Negro Equality." They ready to go off into spasms for fear the Republicans will obtain the ascendency in the administration of die Government, and bring about a of the white and black races.
