(Courier-Times Photos by Ligos) In Lower Makeiield Dr. Kustaborder Named As Planner The Lower Makefield Board of Supervisors last night appointed Dr.

H. Lee Kustaborder of 1540 Makefield Road to a five- year term on the planning commission. Dr. Kustaborder is a dentist with offices in his home. He is president of the Yardley-Makefield Recreation Board.

He replaces Edward Fren- gesh, whose term on the planning commission expired. Other Action In other matters, the board approved a resolution authorizing the purchase a tract of land for $1,700 from John J. Zaluski of Morrisville. The tract would be used to extend South Drive in the Sylvan Terrace area. The supervisors, meeting in the municipal building, also approved a request by Stylecraft Builders of Philadelphia for the withdrawal of Parktown Estates Plan Section 2A.

A township spokesman explained that the builders, who have already built 30 homes in the Parktown Estates area, no longer plan to work in the township and have dropped plans to build another section. 2 Items Not Ready Two items listed on the agenda in reference to Valleywood Section 3 were dropped when the plans were incomplete. The final plans for the section and the escrow agreement were scheduled for consideration by the board. Miss Mary Banko of Big Oak Road addressed the board briefly during the public session. She asked if the board had replied to a May 21 request by Bucks County Judge JohnFullham on a definition of horticulture.

The supervisors said they had no knowledge of such a request. Miss Banko had previously battled the Penn Tree Co. on Big Oak Road to try to stop its operations, which, she said, were against the township zoning ordinances. She said the firm allowed to practice horticulture but not permitted to sell plants not grown on the site. The firm is located near her home.
