The York Daily Record, Monday Morning, September 13, 1971 -13 4 and Mrs. Mrs. Robert K. Horne, 2850 Mt. Sandra Schmidt married Saturday to live in Spec.

4 and Mrs. James Earl Holtzinger are honeymooning at Virginia Beach, following their double ring candlelight wedding Saturday at Mt. Zion United Church of Christ. The bride is the former Cynthia Jean Horne, daughter of Mr. and Grace United Church of Christ was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Sandra Jo Schmidt, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. William E. Schmidt, 743 June and Peter Verne Williams, son of Col. and Mrs. Philip Williams, Warner Robins Air Force Base, Ga.

The 2 p.m. double ring rites were performed by Rev. Hugh L. Gowan, pastor, and Rev. Irvin Raubenhold, former pastor of the church.

Soloist was Mrs. Nancy Donley. The bride was attired in a white floor length gown of pure silk organza. Peau d'ange lace formed a bib effect on the front and back of the empire gown and the same lace made a high collar and cuffs of the Camelot sleeves. Her floor length mantilla veil was edged in matching lace and she carried a nosegay of white roses, carnations and baby's breath.

Sally Russel and Mrs. Lynne D'Alessandro, Charleston, S.C., served as the bride's honor attendants. Also in her party were Nancy Schatzel, Debbie Resser and Cindy Samson. The bride's cousins Nancy Spangler, junior bridesmaid, and Karen Spangler, flower girl, also attended her. Patrick Williams, Watertown, served as his brother's best man.

Ushering were the MRS. PETER V. WILLIAMS nee Sandra Jo Schmidt bridegroom's father: his cousin, Douglas Winslow, San Antonio, and the bride's brothers, Gregory, Steve and William Schmidt Jr. Acolyte was Jeffrey Schmidt, brother of the bride. A wedding reception was held at Hotel Yorktowne following the ceremony.

The newlyweds will reside at Plantation Apartments, 1840 Carriage Lane, Charleston, S.C. Mrs. Williams, graduated from William Penn Senior High School in 1967 and West Chester State College in 1971, where she majored in elementary education. Her husband graduated from Robert E. Lee High School.

San Antonio, in 1965 and attended Washington and Lee University. Lexington, where he belonged to Lambda Chi Fraternity. He is a radar electronics technician in the nuclear submarine service aboard the USS Andrew Jackson near Charleston. S.C. Holtzinger Williamsburg, Va.

officiated at the 7 p.m. marriage rites. A church reception followed for 150 guests. The bride's ivory organza gown was trimmed in lace and seed pearls. Matching lace trimmed her detachable chapel length train and an organza bow held her illusion veil.

She carried a cascade of white roses and ivy centered with an orchid. Bridesmaids were Cheryl Shawlis, Karen Faugh and Vicki Behler, Spring Grove. Tracy Hunt, the bridegroom's niece, served as flower girl. Thomas Spangler was best man. Ushering were Donald Holtzinger brother of the bridegroom, and Kirk Riley.

David Murphy, cousin of the bride, carried the rings. The bride's brother, Jeffrey R. Horne, served as acolyte. The couple will reside at Williamsburg RD 2, Va. The bridegroom is serving with the U.S.

Army at Ft. Eustis, Va. Both are graduates of Central High School. She received her diplma in 1971 and he graduated in 1969. Rummage Sale 129 E.
