The Post-Regiifer, Idaho Idaho, Dec. 20, 1947 Hawthorne Cubs Get Awards, Enjoy Christmas Party Local Barber Takes Life By Suicide Act Wade Strahle, 55. 156 Cedar died late Friday afternoon at tha family home. The death was a suicide, Leo Williams, Bonneville county coroner, said. The coroner reported that the long time Idaho Fails barber had been in ill health for the past two years and was unable to work the last few weeks.

Idaho Falls police and the coroner, who were called, said that Mr. Strahle had taken his life with a bathrobe cord fastened over a bathroom door. The death took place sometime around 5:80 p.m. Mr. Strahle was engaged In the barber business here operating shop on street.

He was perhaps one of the oldest barbers in experience in Idaho Falls. He started working as a shoe shine boy in a barber shop at the age of seven and learned the trade at an early age. He was born Oct. 1, 1892, at McCune, and came here In He was married June 11, 1916, in Ammon. Survivors include his widow, one son.

Dale Strahle, three his mother, Mrs. Mallnda Strahle, a brother, Byron Strahle, all of Idaho Falls. Another brother, Cecil W. Strahle, and a sister, Mrs. R.

E. Bell, both of El Monte, also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Wood Funeral chapel with Bishop T.

Roy Pickett of the Second LDS ward officiating. Friends may call at the Wood Funeral home until time of services. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
