Six families were invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A.

Hanson, 239 Morgan street, for a buffet aupper last evening, after a bobsled ride about town. One-hundred or more skiers and spectators flocked to Plum Hollow yesterday afternoon, and of others, including a party of Dixon Boy Scouts, enjoyed skiing, skating and tobogganing at the Pines. HOSPITAL BAND WILL GIVE PLAY Members of the Dixon State hospital hand will present the play, Village at the amusement hall on Friday evening under the direction of J. Ridolph. The entertainment is scheduled for 7:30 and will be presented by the following cast of characters: Iry, Edward Hacker; Hank, AVilbur Grimm; Ole, Milo Bowling; Heck.

Browne It was just seven years ago Saturday that Miss Elsa Ann Fischer of Dixon and Robert Cameron Browne of Rock Falls were introduced at a college social event, and when the couple exchanged marriage vows in an impressive double ring ceremony Saturday afternoon at Immanuel Lutheran church, the numeral was i 30 a 1 emphasized in anangement of the, decorations for the reception which followed the nuptial service Ivo tapers filled four tall can- delabra in the altar niche, and additional tapers gleamed in the church windows. Her was a linen and lace handkerchief embroidered by Mrs Kurzrock with forget-me-nots, Her arm bouquet contained white roses and white sweet peas. Miss Elinore Kurzrock ot Kewanee was her only attendant. She wore a princess gown of aqua satin, with a ribbon and tulle hat to match, and earned peach-colored gladioli. Burdette Miller of Sterling served as best man. Fifty relatives and close friends of the bridal pair were entertained at a reception at the home of the parents, following the ceremony.

Lunch was served at 5 clock at a large U-shaped table Spun sugar doves and lilies trimmed the three-tiered wedding cake, which was served with ice cream molds in the form of Easter lilies. Favors were packages containing slices of the cake. All of the downstairs rooms were in candelight. Seven white tapers gleamed four candelabra on the 1 table, down on bowls of Easter lilies. Mrs Fischer was wearing black lace with a corsage of white gladi- olt for her daughter's wedding.

I The bridegroom's mother chose 1 green crepe accented by a corsage of peach-colored gladioli. After the reception, Mr. and Mrs Browne left on a brief wedding trip. The bride was wearing a corsage of gardenias at the left shoulder of her traveling suit. Saturday bride was graduated from Dixon high school, and holds a bachelor of education degree from Northern Illinois State college at PeKatb.

For the past rive years, she has been teaching social scince ami dramatics in the Lee Center and Stillman Valley Community high schools.
