O. W. Lanxmann. In accordance with the manv kind wishes of friends and the divine guidance ot Him who guides our every footstep, their journey easlwani was a very pleasant one. As owing to several stops along the route, the trip dul not prove at all tiresome.

The scenery at Buffalo ami Niagara Falls was of especial interest. No strikes or breakdowns occuring, the Falls were in their usual running order, and promise to continue one of the wonders of the world for time to come. Continuing from Buffalo the next stop was at Scranton, where the bridal couple were met by a delegation who accompanied them to their hoiue city. Arriving at a carraige decorated with white ribbons stwd in waiting and a drive over tlie principle streets of the city ended at the church of which Rev. Lauxniann is the honored pastor, Here the whole congregation aliout 200 was assembled and the eager smiling faces of all were an indication that each was trying to outdo the other in extending a hearty welcome to the happy couple their new home.

They were escorted to the basement of the church which was brilliantly illuminated and decorated with flags, flowers and bunting and the Band rendered its choicest to the enjoyment of the assemblage all the evening, A general reception, congratulations and hand shaking was followed by a spleniiitl supper at the three long tables which had been set in advance bv the ladies of the congregation. One of the pleasantest features of the evenings entertainment was the presentation to the bride and groom of an elegant a pair of rocking chairs and a pretty parlor lamp. The country surrounding is irincipally a coal mining district. The citv lies nestled in among high hills, has a bountiful supply of pure water and a healthful climate. The parsonage is nicelv situated near the church and tastily furnished and promises well to be a fleasaut and happy home.
