There is to be a basket picnic at Barfoot's grovo in Seneca township next Friday evening and quite a number of Bancroft people expect to attend. Eov. The banns were pronounced for the first time for the wedding of Nels MJno and a Miss Baker, living north of town, at the Catholic church last Sunday morning. It does seem queer what a groat attraction Algona has for our young men for the past week or so. That Institute should be removed to Bancroft and it would make it more handy for the boys as they are wasting, or at least using up a good deal of time going down there.
