Mr. and Mrs. Mervln Johnson and family were Saturday visitors at the home of her parents, the Cecil Godfredsons at Humboldt. The Johnnie Tobins were Friday evening visitors at the Russell strayer home at Ceylon, Minn. Methodist Junior Mission enjoyed a valentine party Sunday at the church, with 26 youngsters present. The Elvin Godfredsons and family were Sunday dinner guests at the Al Godfredson home at Fairmont for Denise's 4th birthday. The Martin Geerdes were Sunday visitors at the home of her brother, the Jack Reisdorfers at Lakota. The Bob Geerdes's were visitors at Moline, m. at the Kenneth and Earl Mullarkey homes, Saturday to Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Ditsworth and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Koons attended a square dance party at Ft. Dodge Sunday afternoon. About 100 persons enjoyed the dancing, with proceeds to go to Keokuk for the victims of the tragic fire that struck during a square dance party at holiday times. Last Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Feddersen were at the home of Mrs. Etta Hagge at Blooming Prairie, Minn, and the Art Anderson home at carpenter, la. Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Feddersen of Ringsted were Sunday supper guests at the Chris Fedderson home. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Guerdet and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burt spent the weekend at the home of the Ralph Fliers at Turtle Lake, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Guerdet attended the wedding of Darold Berkland of Fenton and Carolyn Gorman at Blue Earth Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Rlppen- tropp and Evelyn were weekend visitors at the home of their son, the Harlan Rippentrops. Mrs. William Gies Jr., has been a patient at the Fairmont hospital for the past two weeks. She has been In traction for a back injury. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Reece of Elmore were Sunday dinner guests at the home of their son and family, the Jack Reeces. Tammy Link of Fairmont spent Wednesday as an overnight guest at the home of her aunt and uncle, the Tom Prestons. Tom Preston, Bob Melgason and Norvall Gochlnauer, Armstrong, spent Thursday to Saturday at Pierre, S. D. fishing. we're making the sidewalks softer this year. Try them.
