Upper D«s Mein«t TuMtloy, February 15, 1966 Kindergarten Meeting Set At Ledyard LEDYARD - Letters have been mailed out from the office of the superintendent with Information concerning kindergarten for the 1966-67 school year. All children who are five years of age on or before Sept. 15, 1966 will be eligible for kindergarten. A tentative date, March 7, has been set for a special meeting of parents of the children. The pre-school meeting Is being conducted by the school and by representatives from the office of the county superintendent. Kossuth county nurse, Joyce Hayden, and a dentist will be on hand to speak to the group, as well as a doctor who will speak on immunization and its importance. Following is a list of the children: Kenneth Asche, Craig Barslou, John Cowin, Tracy Farrow, Mary Alice Haag, Robert Hamilton, Charlene Jorgenson, Paula Jorgenson, Mike Kahler, Marvin Klinksiek, Steven Logemann, Kathy Pingel, Lori Poppe, Bonnie Reese, Steven Reilly, Lori Runksmeier, Craig Runksmeier, Joyce Srnidt, Valarie Stohr and Laurie Wentworth. - o - WED 61 YEARS Mr. and Mrs. William Rotterman observed their 61st wedding anniversary Tuesday, Feb. 8. High mass was said in their honor at the Sacred Heart Catholic church that morning by Rev. Robert A. Thiele. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rotterman will observe their wedding anniversary Feb. 11. Mass will also be said for them that morning by Father Thiele. - o - WED 25 YEARS Mr. and Mr s.Raymond Johnson were honored with a surprise party in observance of their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday. The self-invited guests served lunch at the close of a very pleasant social afternoon. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Selberg, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Selberg and Sandra of Estherville; Mrs. Ruben Balvance and Hermit, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Balvance and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Goetz and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Goetz and family, all of Buffalo Center ; Mr. and Mrs. John Richardson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Richardson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Richardson, Mrs. L. C. Richardson, Mrs. Herman Goetz, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Goetz and boys and Mr. and Mrs . Alvin Busch. WESLEY Mr. and Mrs. Lester Larson attended funeral services of a relative Lawrence Larson, 67, In the Evangelical Free church, Feb. 1. Sam Lodgson, vocal music dir- ector of the Corwith-Wesley community school, had surgery Saturday evening, Jan. 29, In the Biitt hospital. Mrs. George Gremmer, nee Pearl Smith, had surgery at the Lutheran hospital in Ft. Dodge Jan. 27. She was brought home Feb. 3.
