Miss Grace Hugheston Roberts of 23 Tan-y-Mur formerly of 2 Hampton Road died peacefully at the Eye and Cottage Hospital on Friday December 27 aged 67 She will be sadly missed by her sisters Kathleen Jane Megan Mair and brothers John and Gwilym Miss Roberts first worked at the High Street Post Office in Castle Street leaving there to join the Mobile Rea Cross Unit with which she spent her war service at Cned-y-Gelyn Militarv Hos pital Betws-y-Coed Xt the end of the war she was appointed Matron at Rish-worth School in Yorkshire returning to serve as night nurse for 28 years at Gallt-y-Sil Hospital Grace had many friends in Caernarfon this was testified at her funeral when the church was full to capacity She will be remembered well by family friends and neighbours for quick offers of help wherever it was needed in particular her love for children will last for ever in the memory of both young and old in tne Twthill area The funeral on December 31 was held at Llanbeblig Church led Gosber OBITUARY DYLAN JONES Tragically at his home 2 View Terrace Deiniolen on Saturday December 14 1985 Dylan Jones died at the tender age of 15 years He was the youngest child of Mr and Mrs Donald Jones and leaves brother Aled sister Rhian and Gethin Dylan was a quiet boy by nature always happy ana enjoying life to the lull He had numeroua friends locally and at school which was clearly shown by their presence at the funeral He had been a faithful member of Ebenezer Chapel and was set a fine example by his parents in his upbringing quality of life had been a centre point to them He was a pupil at Bryn-refail School and was due to sit several levels in the Summer His favourite subject was computer science and he spent most of his spare time working on his own home computer on different projects as part of his school studies Before the death of his grandfather they attended many local fur and feather shows together and Dylan had shown a keen interest in his prize-winning bantams since he was a young boy His own sudden death came as a great shock to his family friends teachers and to the whole community He will he remembered for his quiet and friendly personality and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him He was buried at Llan-ddeiniolen cemetery on Thursday December 19 after a snort private service at his home followed by a Sblic service at Ebenezer apel which was was 62 He worked in the quarry for 20 yean and then at Ferodo for 20 yean Mr Roberta was a man with a very pleasant disposition He was buried at Llanfair-isgaer cemetery on Thursday January 2 A private service was held at the house and a public service at the cemetery conducted by the Vicar the Rev Richard Jones and the Rev Williams The bearers were Idwsl Gwvn Aled Ifor Des and Dafid The
