MRS. PAUL GREBENER Miss Engaldo, Mr. Grebener Exchange Vows Miss Cathy Jo Engaldo and Paul F. Grebener of Freeport were united in marriage at 1 p.m. June 21 at the First Presbyterian Church in Savanna. The • Rev/Richard Johnson performed the • double-ring ceremony. The bride is the • daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Engaldo of Savanna. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grebener. , Miss Dorothy Johnson was organist, and acolytes were Judy Griswold and. Lori Gage of Savanna. . The'"bride's gown of organza was. fashioned with a bodice of twice-em-. broidered lace, long sleeves and full. skirt enhanced with a wide ruffle'at the hemline. She also wore .a waist- length veil secured by a headpiece of lace and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of Tropicana roses, mums; babies'-breath and stephanotis. - Mrs. J. Pierre Bonjour of Savanna, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore an apricot dotted or-; ganza halter gown with long?sleeved jacket, edged with a gathered ruffle. She also wore a matching picture hat and carried a lace-edged colonial bouquet of white and peach daisies and babies'-breath. Serving as best man was James Drew of Freeport. A, reception followed at the Black Angus Supper Club. • Ttte bride is a graduate of Freeport Memorial School of Nursing. Her husband is- a respiratory therapist at Freeport Memorial Hospital and St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford. Following a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Grebener are making their home at 803 W. Douglas St. " Couple Wed In Ceremony s At St. John's Wedding vows were exchanged by Mrs. William (Dolores) Fritzenmeier and Robert W. Heilman on June 21 at 2 p.m. in St. John United Church of Christ. Mrs. Heilman is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Wohlford. Mr. Heilman's parents are Mr. and Mrs. William D. Heilman, 1226 W. American St. The Rev. Philip J. Anstedt performed the double-ring ceremony before an altar decorated with gladioli and carnations. Mrs. Elwood R. Wunsch was organist. Mrs. Merlyn Lehman and Galen Bertram sang a duet. Wears Satin, Chiffon Gown Mrs. Heilman wore a Tahitian pink satin gown with chiffon overlay and matching jacket. .The gown had a scooped neckline. She carried a bouquet of orchids, babies'-breath and ivy. . Mrs. Clifford Vowles of Freeport was matron of honor for her mother, and Miss Cindy Fritzenmeier of DeKalb was her mother's bridesmaid. Their gowns had a chiffon over satin skirt and multicolored geometric print halter top with matching cape. The skirt of the matron of honor's gown was mint green and the bridemaid's was yellow. They carried nosegays of yellow and green carnations, coral" roses and babies'-breath. Son Is Best Man Craig Heilman served-his father as best man. Grooomsman was Mark Frit- zenmeier, son of Mrs. Heilman; Seating guests were Donald Heilman'and Clifford Vowles. ';.-;:';,'. : A reception followed in the church fellowship hall. Mrs. Heilman was employed by Micro Switch. Her husband is engaged in dairy farming. Following a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Heilman are living at Davis Route 1. • . v , . • • • Creston, Iowa, Church Scene Of Wedding Of Freeport Man Miss Dorothy Ellen Krabiel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Ewing of Creston, Iowa, became the bride of Gerald Mark Straks of'Freeport at 2 -p-m.^June 21 in the First United Methodist Church of Creston, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. H.-.G. Straks of-Sheldon, Iowa, are parents of the bridegroom. The Revs; K. Wayne Hoehns and J. Heber MiJler officiated. Mrs.. Larry Cook, sister of the bride, was organist, and pianist was Miss Rachel Straks, sister of the bridegroom. -Nicholas Shelby was soloist. Matron -of lionor was Mrs. Dennis Kuyper, sister of the bridegroom, and bridesmaid was Mrs: Chuck Johnson. .Both are of Creston. Edsel Langdon of Freeport served as best man, and groomsman was Deh- MRS. GERALD STRAKS nis Kuyper of'Creston. Ushers were Chuck Johnson of Creston and Larry Maedge of Lena. Following a brief wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Straks are living at 2223 W.
