Webb Eagle Badges Earned by Two Brothers WASHINGTON TERRACE — Two brothers, Wayne and Leslie Webb, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Webb of 332 E. 4600 S., have received Eagle Scout badges. Both are members of Troop 271 of the Washington Terrace 6th Ward. Leslie, IS, has served as patrol leader and assistant senior patrol leader in the .troop. He was first counselor in the deacons quorum and president . of the teachers. He is currently - a priest in the ward. An LDS Seminary graduate, he graduated from Bonneville High School in 1971. Wayne, 16, has served as patrol leader and historian in the troop and as deacon president and second counselor in the teachers quorum. He was recently ordained a priest. He is a Bonneville High School junior. 2nd Festival Set for Car Club Saturday The second annual Olde Car Festival and awards banquet will be held by the Golden Spike Empire Vintage Car Club Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn, 24th and Adams. Preceding the banquet, an hour-long car show with club members wearing the apparel of the 1920s and 1930s, will be staged in the north parking lot Between 30 and 40 vintage cars will be on display at the show, according to Harry J Mosher of 3352 Adams, club president. Trophies will be presented tor the best dressed family, the best dressed couple, as well as to the single man and single woman appearing in clothing of the period. Call Issued To Retirees For Meeting ' The president and staff of the , Ogden chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) will attend a confer- •-ence for the organization next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in'Salt Lake City. Orlan M. Jacobson will he •-ioined there by Eugene Reed .''of the Ogden Chapter of the •National Retired Teachers. Association. The conference is a -combined meeting of the two ' organizations. ' Scheduled in the Salt Palace, the conference includes as •speakers Rep. David Pry or, D- 'Ark., and Rep. Orval Hansen, R-Idaho, along with messages •from national presidents of the •two associations. - Also planned is presentation of the musical, "Through the , years—A Look at Retirement Then and Now." A chartered bus will be available to members and anyone 55 years of age or older wishing to attend. Smith ar- rested Percy Edward Brady, 29, - for alleged possession of burglar •tools after stopping him to ask -'.why the car had no license ^•plates. , , . - Later while being booked m " the Weber County Jail on that : -'charge, Brady told the officer ' he was a prison escapee.
