Students Can Get From Lee Loan Fund Help College Any student who is In need of financial assistance for college expenditures and who does r.ot have the aid guaranteed should apply for assistance from the Lee College Loan Fund, Dean Walter Rundell said Friday. Deadline for applications is April 1, added Dean Rundeli, chairman of the committee accepting and screening applicants. Currently, the national government is trying to phase out the National Defense Loan Program and to instigate a new program to provide education assistance. At the time, the situation is rather indefinite as what aid will be available this fall, the dean said. The LC Community Loan Fund helps its applicants either by a direct loan or in obtaining other loans or scholarships and in finding employment. In this manner, students may find assistance from the loan fund other than financial. Lee College graduates and those with good records who have almost completed graduation requirements and are planning to attend a senior college are eligible to apply for a loan, j Dean Rundell said. He pointed j out that persons that have com-! pleted work at Lee in previous', years and have not been able' to continue their education be-| cause of financial circumstances' are also eligible. j The loan fund was established: to help LC graduates complete under-graduate work. Applications are available in the dean's office CALLED COMMUNICATION of Goose Cree* Lodge No- 1193, A. F. and A- M., Saturday. Mcrch 19.
