Sixteen members and their families attended the party. Those present were Mr arid Mrs Franz Teeter. Mrs ' Otto Reutzel, Mrs Elizabeth Kennedy, Mr and Mrs Ray Fitch, Mr and Mrs John Carlsen, Mr and Mrs Mennet Trunk- hill, Mr and Mrs Tony Jandl, Mr and Mrs Clifford Young, Mrs Harry Christensen,- Mr and Mrs Earl Zwiefel, Corrine Kermit, Mr and Mrs Frank Becker, Mr Ray McWhortef, Mr and Mrs 1 Lloyd Bartlett and Merlyn; Mr and Mrs David Bolie, Mr and Mrs Harold Becker, Mr and Mrs Tom Trenary and Mr and Mrs Victor Fitch, Korene and Judy. Ted Rikc has not been feeling well for the past few weeks. The Portland Social Club held its annual Christmas party at the Franz TeeLer home. Thursday afternoon, December 13th with 15 members and two visitors, Mrs Bono Schutter and Mrs Bill Tie- ruiry. Mrs Bono Schutter and Mrs Earl Miller will be two new members for next year. Mrs Goodwyn Bergerud was a patient in Si. Ann Hospital of Ai- gpnu two or three days, with virus pneumonia.. However she is home again and getting along' cis well as can be expected. Mr and M.ra Victor Fitch, Korene and Judy were Sunday dinner guests at the George Hix home. Afternoon callers \vefe Mr and Mrs Timer Harms fend family arid Mr and Mrs Arthur Hix and family., Mr and Mrs Lloyd. Ralph Bauer of Whitlcmore spont Friday evening in the parental, R. C. Bailor home. Ed Hyne.-? and John Bauer attended an International dealers meeting in Mason City Monday December 10. Mesdames F. A. Webb and Har- old Weber were ill and unable to attend. Pupils of the public school will hold their annual Christmas program Wednesday evening, Dec. 19 at 7:30. The teachers, substitute 1 teachers, cooks, janitor and bus drivers had ch'jst x-rays taken Thursday afternoon. Dec. 13 in a mobile unit. Paul Engon and Ivan JohnSort drove- to Rochester, Minn. Wednesday and brought Paul's father. Hans Engcri home. The elder: man had been there four days for treatment of a throat uil* ment.
