I,. Garbelt attended a narty a week ajio Monday at Eagle Grove given by nu'-mbers of the M & M Club for their wives. They also visited their niece Mrs Glen Patterson. Union M & D Club Union Mothers and Daughters Club met Dee. 13 at the home of Nollie Jenkinson with Doretta Plumb and Maurine Ilovey assisting hostesses. Roll en 11 was answered by 21 members. Rev. Ilansen spoke on "The Pathway to Bethlehem", and a collection was taken for the orphanage. .A gift exchange was followed by lunch served bv the hostesses. Hosts To Husbands Women bridge club members entertained their husbands at a Christmas party at the Country Club last Saturday. Present were Mesdames and Messers Richard Burl, Jack Chrischilles. Julian Chrischilles, Don Hemmingsen, Ted Herbst, Clayton Pittman, and Rex Taylor. Ugbary of Hungary, a freedom fighter, was re-united with his sister, Mrs John Kohout, in Calrnar recently. Andrias fled from Hungary, walking 100 miles and wading across icy waters, before reaching Austria in November. He'll work as a draftsman in Cleveland. Jehn Waih* of Fenton is plaintiff, naming Bennie Berkland of Depew as defendant, in a $50,000 damage suit filed last week in district court in Palo Alto county. The suit is a result of a tragic fatality on July 8, when Connie Jean Waite, 8, died as a result of injuries suffered when she was struck by a car driven by Berkland on a country road, in front of the Olar Norland home in Palo Alto county.
